The Nitecore MT1A Pro is an excellent lightweight EDC pen light that delivers a powerful beam and throw, all while maintaining its compact design at under 4 inches in length. Equipped with Nitecore’s UHi 25 LED, the MT1A Pro emits an impressive 800 lumens and can reach distances of up to 273 yards. Powering the MT1A Pro is flexible, as it can operate with the included USB-C rechargeable Nitecore NL1411R battery or an AA battery. When powered by the NL1411R battery, the MT1A Pro can run for up to 10 hours on its lowest mode before recharging.

The reason it needs a longer handle is because the grip gets super hot. You need to hold the end and be careful you don’t lean it on bare skin.
Other than that, it’s a great light. Well it would be nice if the charge lasted longer. I use it to feed my horses. By the time I head back from feeding it starts to dim. Probably gets about 30 minutes before the charge starts to fade.
I really like this MT1A. Although it is not a bicycle light, I use it on my electric scooter, as well as a separate flashlight. Really has lots of light,whether using it on my scooter or separately. Easy to operate. I would recommend this to anyone. Thank you for the prompt service as well as your great staff. You are the best.
Great flash light,I like everything about it except the included battery is defective it took almost 4 hrs to charge every time and I tried different chargers,also battery life is lot shorter than what is written on its website
This light has been amazing. Perfect for EDC!
Purchased this when it first was released as I was hoping to find a quality EDC light wasn't too large and bulky but delivered a decent beam strength. This flashlight fit the bill to a T. It gives the light I need, when I need it and has a decent run time with an about average recharge time using their newly developed battery sized for this light. The battery is so new, I have not been able to pull any specs up on it on their site other than it being mentioned in the flashlight listing. Hopefully that will change as I like to keep an extra battery on hand for those extended run time needs. All in all, I would recommend this flashlight to anyone wanting a compact powerhouse that doesn't take up too much space nor breaks the bank.
