I haven't had the opportunity to test it yet but one thing I have found out already that I don't like. The on off button is not protected enough to prevent accidentally turning the unit on. I had the unit just sitting on my kitchen table with the button facing down to the table and noticed it had accidently turned on by bumping it. Fortunately I saw it and turned it off before it made a mark from the heat on the table. My point is that you would never be able to throw the unit in a backpack to transport it because it would definitely turn on.
Other than using the clip on something where nothing could bump the on button I feel it would be difficult to use while I'm hunting which is my main reason for buying it. If you have any suggestions about how to prevent accidently turning it on during transporting it I would love to hear them.

I bought two units. My wife uses hers when coaching girls at football fields, she said it works great. I use mine at work and as long as i'm in one spot it's good, it takes a few mins for the repellant to disperse when i walk from job to job. I recommend this unit as it clips easy to pockets or a gear bag. battery life is good and i have mine hooked up to a power bank as i work long hours.
