Just what I needed.nice little light.

I bought this as a utility flashlight for my car. With the USB-C charging port, I could just keep it always available and ready to go. Being slim, it could fit in the console or glove compartment without bringing a significant size penalty. Basically, it has met all of my expectations and I am very happy with its functionality.

This uses a back button with a mode button on the side. While I prefer having the mode and trigger buttons together on the back (like on my EDC37), this arrangement is quite satisfactory for this tool. The back button has a very positive click, as does the mode button. The functions (like accessing a strobe or SOS light, or changing brightness and ultra low mode) are pretty easy to grasp and remember. My test of functionality is, “how easy is it to use in the dark?” With the above qualities , the EDC07 passed this easily.

The brightness capability at various levels is perfect from what I would use inside the car as opposed to outside. Inside, you do not want the light to be too bright, else it gets in its own way. Outside you certainly want coverage, however.

I have not been able to appreciate the need for various light temperature levels as a practical matter. Even at its most cool setting, where some LEDs turn from useful to irritating (such as a phone LED), it gives off a useful clear light at an optimal coolness for inspections. I may find use for the warmer settings later, if I am using it as an in field replacement for photography lighting. But for now, that is only interesting.

This is a functional light that is well designed, slim, and lightweight.

Great light for working on the car. The beam is more of a wide flood pattern, which makes it perfect for illuminating a large area without harsh hotspots. I really like being able to choose between 6500K, 5000K, and 4000K color temperatures (the exact Kelvin numbers may vary, but it’s great having options).
The magnetic base makes it even more convenient—you can easily attach it to metal surfaces while you work. It’s also compact and lightweight enough that I carry it in my pocket and can barely feel it’s there.
Overall, a very handy and versatile light.

This is not the brightest light I own but it is the one I carry now. I have other lights I keep in my bag when I need something super bright or non floody.
I did not think that I would like the MCT as much as I do but it is super handy to have. I use the cool color when outdoors, the neutral color for indoor use during the day, and at night when I want something a little easier on the eyes I use the warm light.
Battery is ok. If you use turbo often it will indeed nuke your battery. I use my lights often and when carrying the 07 I charge it every night.
The ultra low option and the IP76 rating is what I wish my EDC23 had.
Again I was not sure about it not being made out of aluminum but I enjoy the fact that it is so light for the size.
The controls are intuitive and similar my my MH25 Pro.
So long as you know what you are in for it is a great light.

Great medium sized light for my EDC. I love the 4 different brightness levels and the extra strobe. I also love the full lock feature.

Great light, I only need to reach out to about 600 yards and this light does that easily.
