With its polycarbonate build and minimalistic design, this certainly satisfies both EDC and pocket carry. The temperature changes can be changed effortlessly to suit the conditions. The on/off switch is stout and given its protective location, the inadvertent accidental activation is mitigated. The nubs on the sides of the EDC07 provides for a solid grip especially with wet or greasy hands. The ability for it to tail stand is a great added feature. Having been thoroughly well pleased putting this light through the paces for a week, I purchased another one in black.

What attracted me to the MH25 v2 is its phenomenally long-lasting 1 lumen setting of 1500 hours - that's 62.5 days or almost 9 weeks! I haven't measured how long it actually lasts, but it stays on for weeks. It packs some serious luminosity at 1300lm (3hrs) and good reach at over 500m (5.5 football fields). I also like that it's a hybrid tactical - side switch. You turn it on with the back switch but then adjust luminosity with the side switch. Perfect combo for me. It can also tail stand, which is the way I like it in moonlight mode. The tail stand is a bit precarious but it does OK on a smooth flat surface. I weighed my MH25 V2 at 209.1g (7.38oz) with a Nitecore NL2150 battery. The 21700 can be recharged via the USB-C port on the flashlight, or charged externally. It can also be replaced by an 18650 or, heck, even two 3V CR123, which I’ve done - does it get any better for flexibility? The MH25 V2 is my favorite among my sub-2000 lumens flashlights. I may have to get another one or two before it's discontinued. At $90, it’s a good value.

I have the Carbo 10 and now the Carbo 20. After having a Dark Energy Poseidon Pro blow up to double size right at 2 years, I won't be going with them again. I haven't submerged these yet, but the 10 has been in a Florida thunderstorm without any ill effects. Now make a Carbo 40 please.

You get a lot of value out of this easy to control headlamp. Does all what I need it to do for my outdoor activity or even working under the sink.

This EDC flashlight stands out as my preferred choice. Its dual-mode functionality, offering both daily and tactical settings, is a significant advantage. I particularly favor the tactical mode, as it prioritizes the turbo setting upon activation. The ergonomic design provides a secure grip, ensuring stability even when wearing gloves, and the battery and brightness indicators are highly effective. The sole drawback encountered was the USB cover, which detached during its initial night of use and was subsequently lost. Upon contacting customer support, the entire flashlight was promptly replaced with a new unit. Consequently, I now exercise increased vigilance regarding the cover, ensuring its secure placement after each charging cycle. I wholeheartedly endorse this flashlight; its exceptional brightness and precise functionality are commendable.

Out in the sticks where I live the power is always going out. Had a big storm the other day with power out for two days but my phone stayed at full charge even with lots of use. I have other powerbanks, but thought to use this outage to test the new nitecore and it kept my phone and nitecore lights going strong for longer than I expected. I own many nitecore products because they don't let me down (except for that old E4K but to be fair it did spend some weeks living in the yard before I found it).
