Absolutely love this thing. The ease of AA’s is what sold me. You can buy AA’s in bulk at all the wholesale stores or Walmart for cheap. Seriously bright as heck also for only being powered by two cheap throw away batteries. I’m tempted to buy the smaller single aa version that throws 800 lumens.

I bought a NU45 about a year ago. I'm a mechanic and i have tried MANY different head lamps trying to find one that actually works for more than a month or looses its charge quite quickly and the light intensity diminishes way before the job is even done maybe 30-45 minutes!!! I can tell you this one is a winner. It can run 3 hours and be between 3/4- 1/2 charged. Usually 3/4 left. You can put it on charge go to lunch come back and it's fully charged ready for the rest of the day and as always at FULL illumination. BUY IT

I bought this head torch a good 9 months ago, and I don't use it often, but I am who likes to have it than not have it.
And when I do use it, its just brilliant.
All the different light positions are good and the head strap is very comfortable too and it comes in its lovely case too..
And hopefully I made a good long term investment 🙏

I love the warmer, 4.5K white LEDs and the brighter red LEDs are great outdoors.

My favorite part—and why I bought it—is the narrow, programable spotlight. It could be even narrower!
