I am a retired Deputy Sheriff, i know a few things about lighting. I purchased Nitecores HC75 UHE headlamp a month ago. For years I have received product emails from Nitecore but did not make a purchase. Listen , this is the most awesome (es) lite i have EVER bought. The battery was purchased as a backup, in case. I seriously doubt it will get used due to the outstanding battery life.

I personally feel that the EDC37 is the best of Nitecore’s line up yet.

I had one for a few years, but I lost it on a trip last month. So I ordered a new one because I know that it's a well built light and I never had any trouble with it working. I also have the EDC 35 and use it as a back up. Both are good investments as far as dependable lights.

This battery is unbelievable. 36Wh in this package and at this weight is unheard of! I use a PD trigger cable to power my 12v QRP radio and it gives me hours of operating time - which I did not expect. I was so impressed, I bought another one because we all know, "Two is one, and one is none."
