Compact rechargeable EDC light praised for exceptional brightness (1200 lumens) and quality build. Customers said it's "small but mighty" with useful color temperature options. While some noted it's larger than expected for a keychain, most appreciate the size for functionality. Concerns include accidental activation and occasional overheating. Battery life is excellent.
A bit big for a "keychain", but some can use it that way, but for me the TUP2 makes a great backup light for the outdoors (better 2 lights at hand than fumbling in the dark to replace batteries). It's light weight, and easily clips to a hat brim, and will provide adequate illumination and run-time for a late night walk in pitch-black darkness. The 80 Lumen mode gives 7 hours, the 15 lumen mode gives 30. Further, the triple color temperature is definitely useful, switching to Warm on a dim misty or drizzly morning or twilight. Concerned a bit for the IP54 rating, but this indicates it will stand up to light rain (could also wear it under the hat brim). This will become my backup light for backpacking, and the primary to grab in the middle of the night.
I like the new brightness of the light but it has the same issues with accidental turn on in my pocket that the other light had. If you can create a light holder that prevents the light from getting turned on in the pocket that would be nice
Best keychain flashlight ever
GREAT light for keychain! I always carry EDC27 but now I can have a strong light on my keychain. Love it, love the semi-lock feature and love having 1200 lumens at the ready to blast someone's eyes in self defense! Keep those Nitecores coming!!!

Love the light so far. Shipping was very slow.
Nice bright key chain flashlight. If I had to change one thing about the light, it would be the ON button. It turns on too easy and think it should be recessed more to prevent draining the battery. I'm aware it has Two lockout feature.

High quality small flashlight. Belt Clip is quality as well. Super bright. Even the 1 lumen is useful when its pitch dark.
Battery lasts a long time.
Only observation is that the plastic covering for the LEDS does move ever so slightly.

Very nice light other then mine got so hot it would of burn you. Called customer service just asked about it and before I could even tell him what was going on he was trying to sell me something. Not a happy camper. Then he acted like I was a complete idiot. I told him have a good day and I was done.
It's a good product; I like its style and build quality.
I use my TUP2 every night.Work outside at night and it's a valuable lighting tool. It's small but packs a punch of usable light in different situations. Haveused it in rain with no issues.
