High Performance EDC Flashlight

The Nitecore EDC27 is an ultra slim flat shape high performance EDC flashlight capable of a 3000 lumen max from its dual Luminus SST40 LEDs. The EDC27 possesses a max beam throw of 240 yards in a wide flood beam from the TIR style lens achieving maximum illumination for scouting and searching. Designed to be easily carried in pocket, the EDC27 is flat shape and 44% thinner than most compact flashlights. Constructed entirely of stainless steel, and PVD coated with titanium, the EDC27 is not just strong, it's rated IP54 water resistant and impact resistant, so it won't bend in your pocket. With the inclusion of a special heavy duty pocket clip, that accepts lanyards or even paracord, the EDC27 can be carried all day, everyday.

Easy to Operate

The EDC27 has a side-by-side dual tail switch system for fast activation, mode changing, and strobe deployment. The mode button also doubles as a strobe switch. Whether the light is off or on, holding the mode button gets you instant turbo. With five brightness settings to cover all of your needs, the EDC27 will be the last everyday carry flashlight you need and is great for emergency kits, or outdoor adventures.

USB-C Fast Charging

The Nitecore EDC27 is equipped with a built-in battery for up to a 37 hour max runtime. Great flashlight!

I bought this light and love it! It has worked flawlessly for me. The design and concept behind it allows me comfort in EDC and convenience working in an investigations unit.

Using the light as it was designed to be carried, (utilizing the sturdy metal pocket clip), not once has it come on accidentally and that’s without even using the level 1 locking setting. By carrying the flash light as it was designed to be carried, the portion of it that protrudes from the pocket doesn’t make contact with anything to turn on.

I personally don’t want a mechanical lock because that is something else to catch lint, grime, and have to manipulate if my fine motor skills are out the door in a high stress situation.

I’m considering buying another one because of its incredible functionality. A good percentage of my coworkers are considering this light and individuals I’ve met in classes.

Rock Solid design tough as hell light. Fits perfect in pocket.

Great light with good attention to detail

Impressed by this light and how well they designed it to fit in the hand. Not a fan of the double-click unlock system - please upgrade with the lock switch from the EDC33. Glass breaker on bezel would be a nice add as well. Overall a fantastic device.

Had an issue

Had 2 , lost first one , second one was good till it wasn’t. Would not shut off so should have sent back but tried to disassemble and ruined it … my bad. But hadn’t had very long when it refused to shut off!

Awesome, but has some flaws

This little light is well built, bright as hell, and has some really nice living features. The one down side I've already found after owning it for less than a month... the lens has started melting/bubbling after using it on the 1k lumen setting for about 15 minutes straight.

I don't recall seeing any warnings in the instructions about that, but it's definitely bubbled the lens directly in front of the 2 emitters. I'm not sure if this effects the performance any, but I guess time will tell.
