The Nitecore EDC27 UHi is an update to the beloved EDC27, a flat-shaped slim flashlight that is easy to carry in a pocket, backpack, and everywhere else. Now featuring the innovative NiteLab UHi 20 LED, the EDC27 UHi delivers a powerful 3100 lumen output and an impressive throw of 333 yards. In addition to increased brightness and throw, the EDC27 UHi boasts new updates to its switches, runtimes, and more.
Easy to Operate
To power the light on or off, simply fully press the Power Button. While the light is on, half-press the power button to cycle through four different brightness levels, all conveniently indicated by the OLED screen. When turned off, the EDC27 UHi will remember the previously selected brightness level when reactivated. To quickly cycle between brightness settings, use the Level Preset Function to find your desired output. To access the Ultralow mode, half-press the power button when the light is off. To access Turbo, half-press the mode button. Full press the mode button to activate Strobe. The EDC27 UHi features an updated Sensor Protection function that activates when the light is accidentally turned on in High, Turbo, or Strobe modes, automatically reducing the brightness to prevent overheating. This sensor protection is only active when the light is turned on and deactivates during normal use.
USB-C Charging
The EDC27 UHi has a built-in 1700mAh battery that can be charged through its built-in USB-C port. Once fully charged, the EDC27 UHi can achieve a maximum runtime of 55 hours on its lowest mode. Additionally, the EDC27 UHi can withstand impacts of up to 1 meters, holds an IP54 rating, and employs patented advanced temperature regulation, ensuring reliable performance in any environment.

Fantastic light that doesn't last. Push button/Toggle stops working and power setting is no longer able to be selected PRIOR to turning on the light. I've sent two of these EDC27UHi models in numerous times (more than 3 times) for the same issue. Really question my choice of Nitecore and if it is a quality product. Again, great form factor for EDC...but a $100 flashlight should be of better quality and function properly for many years, not just 6 months.
Purchased EDC25 1st, awesome but the EDC27 even better and a bit brighter with much easier buttons.
Love these, this is my third one. I am rought on these and they keep working. The first one I dropped off a 2 story house, it still works but one of the 2 LED isn’t working. Still bright though. Second one I left on a job site by accident. I’m gonna do a better job taking care of this one and not leaving it behind. These are truly my everyday cary in a holster with my folding knife. Been a customer for 4 years or so. Great product good price. 👍👍
This has been my EDC light including work for at least 2 years maybe more. I recommend to everyone. Battery is still great with no significant/noticeable drop in performance. Screen cover glue loosing its grip is the only thing that has "gone wrong" but I work with chemicals that melt nitrile gloves off your hands after an hour so it's hardly a complaint. Stuck the cover back on and it's still going strong. 10/10 Nitecore beats any Streamlight I've ever had. I also have the EC23 and used it like a hammer for years without issue.
It’s a good EDC light that I carry while off duty. That being said, I’ve had it for maybe a year and it no longer works because it got wet during a camping trip. So the durability is certainly lacking if you ask me. They should design it with some sort of water resistance.
Highly recommended works as advertised and much more it will give you the brightest light in the darkest hour‼️
This flashlight has a lot of great features, I love the strobe. I also love that it has the lock. And boy when you hit that bright that turbo mode it is bright

Tail buttons stopped working over time (about a year). I should've read the overwhelming number of reviews stating the same thing. Now it's useless.

I purchased a Nitecore EDC25 about two years ago, and unfortunately the battery recently stopped holding a charge. I contacted Nitecore customer service, sent the light in for evaluation, and was impressed by the outcome. After assessing the issue, they replaced it with a newer EDC27 UHi at no cost. The replacement is an excellent upgrade, but what stood out most was Nitecore's commitment to product quality and customer satisfaction. Professional, responsive service like this is rare and greatly appreciated. Highly recommended.

Power button has broke 2 times from EDC. Nitecore has warrantee it twice. Only reasonit received a single star.
Very high quality light. The aluminum body feels great, the button modes are handy, and it's super bright.
Had an issue with the nitecore edc25 power button not working. Got fast response for return and I requested nitecore edc27. One week later received edc 27 and working even better than ever.

Super nice light. Compact with great output. The only downside I have is that the strobe function can’t be turned off. It’s part of the half- click full click button pressing technique.

Wasn't what I was expecting.
I bought this because it works so well. Someone forgot one on the conference table at work and I couldn't believe how well it work, especially for it's size. I am always looking in manholes as part of my job and this projects the light into the manholes better than most,, it's size is just a major plus.
I’ve carried a lot of flashlights over the years, but the Nitecore EDC27 has quickly become my favorite EDC light. The ultra-slim, flat design is perfect for pocket carry—it feels more like carrying a knife than a bulky flashlight.
The brightness is honestly impressive. The 3100-lumen turbo easily lights up large areas and the beam has great throw while still giving good spill around you. The controls are simple and the instant turbo feature is a huge plus.
Build quality feels solid, the OLED screen is a great touch for checking battery and brightness levels, and USB-C charging makes it easy to keep topped off.
Overall, it’s an extremely powerful light in a slim package that actually makes sense for everyday carry. Definitely a five-star flashlight for me.
I own two of these great flashlights, one for the bedside table and one that stays in my pants pockets. I like mine so much thati bought three more. Two were for my grandsons and the third for a friend's birthday. Great low to high power flashlights. Being flat it stays where I put it and does not roll. Keeps a charge for a long time.
More flashlight than I ever really need. Compact and easy to carry. Customer service is a pleasure to work with.
