The Nitecore NU45 rechargeable headlamp is the ideal companion for various activities such as working, camping, hiking, and more. Its ultra-high efficiency (UHE) LEDs and unibody lens ensure optimal performance, emitting a bright 1700 lumen beam that can reach distances of up to 188 yards.

Three Lighting Options

The NU45 offers remarkable versatility with its three lighting outputs: Primary White Light, Reading Light, and Red Light. When using the primary white light, you can access up to four different brightness levels by short-pressing the power button, or activate the turbo mode by double-pressing the power button. When the light is off, double-press the power button to access the reading light, providing two low-brightness modes. Alternatively, switch to the Red Light by long-pressing the mode button when the light is off. The red light protects your night vision or is a long-lasting signal light with three red modes: Low, High, and Slow Flashing. The NU45 also features modes like SOS and Beacon to assist you in any emergency. Additionally, a proximity sensor automatically adjusts brightness to prevent overheating and blinding reflections.

USB-C Fast Charging

Weighing only 4.44 oz, the NU45 is a lightweight headlamp perfect for night running, outdoor adventures, or camping. With a built-in 4000mAh rechargeable battery, it can achieve a maximum runtime of 86 hours on its lowest white-light setting. It also has a USB-C port for easy fast charging, taking only 1.5 hours to reach full power. A power indicator lets you know when it's time to recharge, and the lockout mode prevents accidental activation. The NU45 is also rated IP68 water-resistant and can withstand impacts of up to 2 meters, making it a reliable companion for everyday tasks, camping, hiking, and more, in any environment.

I bought a NU45 about a year ago

I bought a NU45 about a year ago. I'm a mechanic and i have tried MANY different head lamps trying to find one that actually works for more than a month or looses its charge quite quickly and the light intensity diminishes way before the job is even done maybe 30-45 minutes!!! I can tell you this one is a winner. It can run 3 hours and be between 3/4- 1/2 charged. Usually 3/4 left. You can put it on charge go to lunch come back and it's fully charged ready for the rest of the day and as always at FULL illumination. BUY IT

One of the best!

This is clearly one of the best headlamps for the price! I've owned quite a few headlamps at varying prices, but this one out performs them all. It is bright, very adjustable in brightness and color, easily chargeable, and comfortable to wear. I highly recommend it.

Turns Night into Day

Amazing powerful light.
Crisp pattern, Easy to use functions even with my Arthritic hands. Battery life is hard to even believe. I’m blown away by this.
Nice wide comfortable headband. Lightweight is a bonus.

Keeps Failing

I'm a nitecore fan. I have owned 3 flash lights and a headlamp. Everything worked great except for this nu45 headlamp model.

It has so far failed to turn on twice in my more than a year of ownership. Both times i got a new replacement (great warranty). However it has me worried everytime I use it. I used this headlamp in my job every night and I can't afford to have unreliable lamp. Can't recommend this model at all.

Very bright headlamp.

Very bright headlamp with long distance throw as advertised. Not entirely liking that it takes a long press to turn on. Also the headband doesn’t stay fitted consistently - I have to readjust after using 2 or 3 times. Should have a better system to hold the fit.

For the money I would say it is the best light I have , this is my fifth one , could not be happier.

Nice Light for the night time hikes. You can see along ways out with this headlamp. It's the best one I've used. Very pleased, Randy

We shall see

Ice light bright very workable mount, parts available, good elastic strap to carry on head of helmet with a tough yellow bad that looks a bit strider than the other brand of light. I have not charged it yet and wonder about the lifespan of the battery and charge that said I have used it quite a bit and zero dimming yet. For the price not cheap but by no means outrageous.
I’m thinking these will become my go to outdoor chore and adventure light of choice I will let y’all know more purchase are in the pipeline seems to be a very workable work horse light I looked long and hard until I found this and am very pleased and getting more so. I’ll be back.
