I have nitecore older HC65v2 as backup light and newer hc65 uhe, but there was some drowbacks to hc65 uhe. But with this hc70 version those drawbacks were eliminated. Pros over hc65 uhe is bigger 21700 battery and +200h battery time on low setting mode which is usable indoors for close work tasks. And i think hc70 low power setting is more usefull than wide warm secondary light in hc65 uhe.
And whole beam profile for all standart modes is wider, which i prefer more.
Best headlight for price/performance ratio of all in market right now.
Overall, I like the HC70 UHE, I do have an issue with the thin rubber USB-C port cover. Carefully closing the cover and checking it before every use, it still seems to come loose. Having to clean out the USB port is should not be a necessary part of using a headlamp. I'm an electrican, an always crawling through attic's and poping up in ceiling tiles, etc. Dirty places are where I work. I'm hoping for an thicker replacement cover. I do like the improved wider headband.
Hands down best headlamp i have used. Amazing battery life and brightness.
Heavy duty. Primary chose this model for the red lens option. Wish it was a little lighter, but the light options and rechargeable battery make it worth the extra weight. Own several Nitecore lights - P23, couple MH25s, plus several purchased as gifts. Never any issues.
I bought this head torch a good 9 months ago, and I don't use it often, but I am who likes to have it than not have it.
And when I do use it, its just brilliant.
All the different light positions are good and the head strap is very comfortable too and it comes in its lovely case too..
And hopefully I made a good long term investment 🙏

Love the light and case. Not real happy with UPPS. It take two more days because of the way they have it set up on everything that ia U.S. mail.
But the light is a great one
It was a good purchase, the light is easy to use and it stays in place. I was nervous about the weight but I hardly know I have it on. The light intensity selections work great with what I'm working on.
Finally, a head lamp that projects a bright light father than I could throw a brick. At least now I will see the bear in the night preparing to dine on my flesh far in advance. Seriously, this is bright, and I can easily see well past 100 feet Though it is slightly heavier than other head lamps to allow for the greater power, it's not a bother to wear. The different light levels are far enough apart to make a difference in different environments.

Great headlamp. Good light. Options for red or white light. Easy to recharge. Only drawback is the switch is a bit fiddly to engage and disengage.

Excellent lamp, very bright and easy to operate! The lamp is comfortable to wear and doesn’t slide around. The included carry case is also well thought out out and just the right size!
Paper Battery Isolator removed, fully charged, would not power on, lock or unlock. Now it’s dead weight in my bag.
Tested before a trip and it worked properly.

Heavy, but extremely bright and efficient. Great for dog walks, search and rescue etc. Battery last forever. The weight is justified in the quality.

My Wurkkos seems better suited to my dog walking
I bought this to walk my dogs during the winter in Alaska. I like how well I can see what's around me. It's a bit heavy. The band is hard to adjust and loosens over a couple of times wearing it so it has to be adjusted again.
Light can be better for this price. Plastic look and feel - no good.

I have an older model and what a difference. Easier to use, charge and adjust , and the extended battery life is an extra bonus.
If you want the best head lamp for the money then this is the one I guess. I wish the USB charging port was sealed against water like the older units.
Comfortable headband. Very happy with the extended battery life. I can work for hours and hours without having to worry about recharging.
