Description

2000 Lumen Split Style Headlamp

The Nitecore HU2000 is a split-style headlamp that emits a bright 2000 lumen beam that has a wide coverage of 174 yards. By separating the power source and headlamp, the HU2000 is easy to wear while the power bank can be stored in a pocket or backpack. With the included clip, you can easily change the HU2000 into a clip-on light that you can attach to backpacks, clothing, and more; perfect for industrial work, search and rescue, and more.

Multiple Ways to Power

The HU2000 supports external power sources with a USB-C output port. It comes with a USB-C extension cable and a hook-and-loop strap to ensure a secure connection between the headlamp and the power source. When connected to NB10000 Gen 3, the HU2000 can run for up to 66 hours on its lowest white mode. If the power source is disconnected, the HU2000 can operate on its built-in battery for 30 minutes until a new power source is available. Recommended to use a power bank with a ≥20W output to access turbo mode. The HU2000 is also rated IP68 water-resistant and can withstand impacts of up to 1 meter, making it a reliable companion for any condition.

White and Red Outputs

The HU2000 headlamp comes with two lighting outputs: White Light and Red Light. When using the white light, you can access up to three different brightness levels or directly activate the turbo mode. Alternatively, switch to the Red Light, which protects your night vision or is used as a long-lasting signal light with three red modes: Low, High, and Slow Flashing. The HU2000 also features modes like SOS and Beacon to assist you in any emergency.

I like the idea of powering it with large power bank, but

the concept of powering this headlamp is exactly what I was looking for...but the lamp just isn't bright enough to require a large power bank as its power source...the idea of using a power bank means that the light can be much brighter (higher lumens), can be run at max power (turbo or high), and it can run for much longer since power banks are 4 to 10 times larger in mah capacity than lithium ion rechargeable batteries...I like the light but Nitecore needs to put out a headlamp
and a flashlight that have a more spotlight type of long throw beam, can put out 3000+ lumens (the higher the better), and run on a usb connection to a power bank just like this model...since they could be powered by a large power bank for very extended periods of time, why not max out the capabilities of the light?...that's the whole reason for having a wired connection to a larger power source...max it out...I'm sure I'm not the only one out here who has been waiting for this particular power source option...I bought two of these and put them on the same headband...then hooked each one up to its own 20,000 mah power bank...they just aren't bright enough and don't throw far enough to do what I need them to do...please put out something like the MH 25 pro, p30i, and the battery hog hc68 that can run off of a power bank through usb connection...nobody else has anything like this

Needs a battery bank to function

I don’t like the fact that it has to be connected to a battery bank for it to function. It would be nice if it said it when purchasing it. Until you read the directions is how you find out you need a battery bank to use it. It was a gift and turned out it’s not useful without the battery bank.

BATTERY NOT INCLUDED THINK BRIGHTNESS COULD BE HIGHER DUE TO
USING A POKET POWER BANK OK BUT NOT THE IDEAL HEADLIGHT
