Utilizing convenient repellent mats, the NWL30 eliminates the need for messy creams and sticky residues.
Compatible with Standard Mosquito Repellent Mats
Due to regulatory restrictions, repellent mats are not included with the device. However, it is compatible with most standard mosquito repellent mats available on the market. The device can hold either one 34mm x 48mm mat or one to two 35mm x 22mm mats at a time and can also accommodate mats that are slightly larger or smaller without issues.

I bought for the mosquito repellent function. Does not get warm enough on high or low setting to work. Disappointed.
I absolutely love it!!!. I went fishing and had the Nightcore nwl30 on all night and into that morning, at a little over the lowest setting and only lost one bar. Which was awesome! I highly recommended. Two other Nightcore products that I also own I would highly recommend which is the hc-75uhe and the Nightcore EDC 37
The light is really nice. The controls are very smooth and easy to learn. The magnetic mount is handy and the fact it can also charge your phone etc is a big plus.
i like the ability to change from white to soft whit light and the intensity is great. Mosquito is an added benefit. All around a nice light and it comes with a convent carrying case

So far the light seems like it is excellent quality. I am happy with the product.
Overall, I do like the build quality and the features of the light, even though I have not yet tested the mosquito repellent feature. The ability to use dials to control the brightness and color temperature do seem nice at first, but the brightness dial is far too touchy and jumpy, and then goes unresponsive once the light has been on for a while. So you end up, blinding yourself trying to adjust the light later on.
I also agree with other reviewers that the magnets are not nearly strong enough. I also needed to purchase a separate magnet to attach to the light to keep it from falling off metal surfaces.
Loving the light, I can see without any distortion. Nice and bright.

Nice product. Like the physical buttons. Magnet is weak and not very useful - had to buy a stronger magnet to attach to camera mount.
3 in 1?..not maybe 2 in 1.For me most important is the Mosquito Repeller cause I'm allergic.The pad I'm using from other brand thermacell pad cause you said you don't have it.The process of heating pad not enough to burn it.i look look at the spec of heating the nitecore NWL30 can't do his job maybe because not compatible.

Just received the NWL30 today and so have not yet used it in the field. Solid construction, nice output. Have not tested the mosquito repellent feature yet (it would be nice if it came with a mat so it was ready to use out of the box).
My only complaint—and the reason for a 4-star review instead of 5—is the magnetic base is not strong enough to hold the lantern on a vertical surface. It seems to be sufficient for holding it on an underhang, but that's not always a good mounting option.
I just received a pair of NWL30's and I love them. Excellent lighting options for warmth/cool and brightness. Impressive flood coverage, even has a built in mosquito repellant. Great offering, definitely recommend.
Yep, they released it, but should not have. The magnets are fairly weak, the light will slide down many surfaces, my fridge, my safe, my shop door. Then it has had a glitch like it was in lock-out mode, although I can't find anything saying it has a lockout mode. It was fully charged, worked fine for a minute. Took it to a friends house to show them, and it would not work. I plugged in the charge cable, it showed full, and it started working? Quality control appears to have all quit, the last light i received MH25pro had to be sent back right after I received it, now this light.

Works as listed, nice smooth operation. My sons a photographer hobbyist and was very interested in this as an addition to his gear. That was one of the reasons I purchased it.
Nice enough light, but the dial that controls turning on, and light level is in a bad spot. If you slide it next to something, it moves the control very easily. Level control is not very smooth, too sensitive to the movement! You also would have thought that they should have at least include one of the mosquito repellent pads, but mine had none. Would have been nice to try it without buying it separate. For the price you would think there would at least be one as a sample, but nothing included! Also, the magnet in the handle is all but worthless!! Just too darn weak for the weight of the unit. I'm a design engineer, and I would be embarrassed to put this unit out as it is. Just not quite up to Nitecore standards in my opinion.
I’m very happy with the performance of this lantern. It’s great that it’s also a power bank as well. Relatively easy to operate and pretty tough.
This is such a great product to have and meets all needs. I purchased this as a gift for a beloved flashlight enthusiast, but it’s truly more than just a light. This is great for extended power outages and a must have to be prepared! Heavy, durable, and incredibly strong!
