This compact 8000-lumen flashlight delivers exceptional brightness with multiple settings and excellent battery life. Customers said it's "really powerful considering its size" and praised its durability and USB-C charging. However, some noted concerns: the glass panel can break from impact, non-replaceable battery, pocket clip is too long, and it heats up quickly on high settings.

Best EDC on the market for price and power.

I've owned alot of streamlight flash lights, and this by far the brightest EDC flash light for its size! The multiple intensity settings make sure you have the right level for every situation. The battery life is insane. I carry it daily and charge it every other month.

Poorly build and worst customer service

Ordered this June 20th and I’m not satisfied with this light for the price they’re charging. I tried to start a return and Amy from support said I have to pay for my own return label. I wouldn’t recommend this company at all. This will be my first and last nitecore.

Bought the flashlight on Amazon in December of 2025 and started having issues with it in May 2026

Bought the flashlight on Amazon in December of 2025 and started having issues with it in May 2026.
Contacted Nightcore and they had me send it and and then sent me a new replacement. This is the second time they stepped up with a warranty repair. I own 4 nightcore flashlights and will continue to buy from them for all my flashlight needs.

No longevity

Amazing weight, ergonomic feel, and powerful beam. However I haven’t even had it 6 months and even with its IPX rating I haven’t gotten it wet and it already stopped charging. No matter what cord I use.

Geat light for carry

Geat light for carry. Little wide and clip so small, hard to clip in pocket , workin on it. Contrils are very easy to use very intuitive. Would like a duty belt holster for light ... ibknow its a pocket light but holster light holder would be a nice option. Battery life seems to be more than adequate for daily use .

Good enough

Lots of options with lumens. Compact but has weight to it.
Power and lumen display is very helpful.
A carry pouch would be helpful.
Still gets hot quickly on high lumen setting after brief time.

The EDC37 is amazing

The EDC37 is amazing. Easy to use UI and fits in your hand well. The buttons are well placed and easier reach than my EDC33. It gets very hot if you use it at 8000 but it’s regulated so it won’t hurt the light.
All around great light

Two modes: Insane OP and Excellent EDC

As a mild mannered everyday 1500 lumen high capacity light, its already excellent. Add the OverPowered 8k and 3k lumen mode and this flashlight has superpowers.

Love everything about this flashlight

Love everything about this flashlight. From the ergonomics to easy function use. Screen display is crisp. Love that is can choose 15, 100, 400 or 1500 lumens as a preset before powering on. Spot light and flood light are amazing. The only "issue" im coming across is the lockout switch will flip on me on the occasion while in my pocket. Other than that amazing tool andhighly recommend.

Disappointed in Nitecore

I purchased this light and was very pleased with it. Super bright, liked the features and size. Was my 18th nitecore light. Then it just suddenly quit working. Wouldn’t come on or do anything. I contacted nitecore and they said send it back. So $25 bucks at fed-ex and returned it even though I didn’t feel like I should have to pay to return it. They checked it out and said they were able to replicate the problem and would send me a replacement. They sent it in my original box which is now tore all to pcs and the light is scratched up pretty bad on the back side. Very disappointed in Nitecore and expected better.

Quality, Well-Built & Design

The large steel clip is ideal. Easily portable for everyday use. I also find the lever to quickly activate the electronic lock an ideal feature. I did find the Oled display screen somewhat sensitive. The screen cracked when it was accidentally dropped on carpet flooring at home.
Overall, an outstanding flashlight.

Nitecore EDC37 Flashlight

I really like this mini beast of a flashlight. It’s got lots of battery power and it’ll hit 8000 lumens if needed. The glass breaker is a nice touch and it’s removable if you wish. I love the OLED readout and the light modes are customizable. It’s also got spotlight, floodlight & strobe. It’s just a really nice light. It’s not lightweight but it’s packed with features that are real world useable.

Stops working a month later

I bought this flashlite as a everyday carry as a heavy duty mechanic I needed a powerful flashlight for those huge engine bays and etc I paid the higher price expecting the brands reliability a month later it gets stuck in its lock out mode and no longer functions piece of junk and a waste of money just get a maglite

Very nice flashlight

Very nice flashlight. I would rather have buttons on surface, rather than back of light, but I'm still giving light an A+

Love it

4.75 only because I like my EDC35 slightly better. I like how the clip is screwed on to the 37 as opposed to the 35, but it’s harder to clip on my vest at my shoulder smoothly as I use it on several traffic stops a shift.
