NITECORE P23i 3000 Lumen Rechargeable Flashlight

I carry this light with me to work even when I go out to eat. I run it in ultra low and low most the time which is bright and long runtime.

Not as narrow of a beam as expected.

Unbelievable brightness for a flashlight

Perfect balance of spot and flood beam. Outstanding light output. Great battery, recharges quickly.

At 75 years, it wasn’t handy for me to hold light in a a way allowing for easy use of tail switch. I am returning light for a model with switch up near the head.

Well it boost as a upgrade of the P20i but comparing the two wasn’t as impressive the LED was visually larger but side by side comparison the P20i still out performed it in my eyes also the feel and weight kinda felt like it was cheaply made in comparison. I’ve bought several flash lights and head lamps from nitecore this was the first item that didn’t impress that being said it’s a fair light and extremely bright. I just hope this isn’t a sign that the company is putting profit over quality like so many other companies.

This is definitely a flashlight I will be using for a while, I've been using it
for about 6 months with no hiccups and the functions are super useful but the only thing "bad" about it is the area around the led gets pretty hot when on it's maximum setting but it's expected with such a small powerful light, even still it might be useful as it kept my hands warm in the winter.

I am a heavy duty commercial garbage truck mechanic for 8+years. I use this every work day and sometimes at home. I recommend this light above all others and brands that are top tier in this segment. It fits in the right shirt pocket of my uniform shirts, tail cap up. I am amazed how protected the lens is from angled impacts, bumps drops. It hasn't even got a discernable scratch on the lens surface do to whatever that protective coating is. Just outstanding performance.
At night I can reach the cell towers near our shop which are almost a quarter of a mile away.
That's with the brightest setting on and then pressing the ultra bright light into action with the paddle switch.
The only negative is the rubber cover to the Type C USB port tore off the second week of use. I just wrap two rounds of 3/4" masking tape around that part of the light regularly as needed and after I recharge the battery. No water intrusion or corrosion in over two years of use. If I haven't had any negative issues doing what I do for a living with it, you probably won't either. I realize I'm not a combat infantryman or a law enforcement officer at this time but, it'd more than likely serve them well too.

I choose the P23i for on duty use as a policeman in Brazil.

For me, it does the job well.
Well built, Nice finish, is light enough that does not bother when stored in the vest Carrier.

Bought the molle holster, which is very well built.
Also bought the Tactical ring.

This flashlight is exactly what I wanted, a good update to its predecessors.

Upgrading from the P10i, the P23i is an amazing piece of equipment. The ability for it to be in Daily Mode with last-used memory AND Tactical Mode with an immediate 3000 lumen light up is great for use when illuminating dark areas or coming up behind cars on the curb. Been with Nitecore since their 1st gen P10 and they never disappoint

great light with good battery life considering it’s 3000 lumens.

I search for a long time on the internet to find the perfect police duty flashlight. The P23i is the perfect combo of lumens and throw. I compared it with other officers lights and it out performed all of them.

I purchased this flashlight for a friend, and input his shipping address, but the package was shipped to me instead.

My old stream light went out and found this light. Taking it out on patrol it is an amazing light and I love the multiple light settings couple with its compact size it’s perfect for patrolling.

Big bright flashlight. Had to read the instructions to figure out where the mode switch is. Prefer it on the side.

I upgraded from a 20i for that bump to 3000 lumens. I like the way it toggles through all the settings and the selections are spread enough to make them worthwhile. Battery life is excellent. This is my 7th or 8th flashlight from Nitecore. They are ALL first class.

This compact light has superior brightness which incorporates a very intuitive tail cap to readily change the brightness levels and activate the strobe function with a single thumb motion. The machining is perfect with the tail cap easily removed for quick battery swaps. Nitecore has certainly captured the market on flashlights (EDC, keychain and tactical) batteries and power banks. This is based upon the great stride in its innovative technology and the P23i certainly hit the benchmarks in design, quality and size to brightness ratio.

Great flash light just wish the battery would last longer but no biggy ill buy an other battery
