Smells funny and doesn't maintain constant speed.

Smells funny and doesn't maintain constant speed. When pointed at my face, it has the same smell as cheap Chinese electronics. If you leave it running and listen closely, you can hear it speed up and slow down. Sometimes it sounds like it loses power for a split second. When you switch it to top speed, it bogs a little until it gets to higher RPMs. Not nearly the same quality as the flashlights. The case looks nice and it moves a lot of air, but it seems to be cheaply made.

Update: Nitecore Store reached out to me, asked me some questions and replaced the unit without charging me anything. The new unit smells much better that the old one did. I should also mention that the inconsistent speed went away after I ran the old one for an hour or two, and the new one worked fine right off the bat. I've updated the score from 1 to 4 stars. This thing moves a lot of air for such a tiny device.

Great little fan

Great little fan. I use this on a trip to Disney World, and it worked great. It was small and easy to hold in your hand yet, the fan put out a decent amount of cooling. Battery lasted the hole trip. Highly recommended.

Nice strong breeze

Nice strong breeze. Much better than the folding blade cooling fans from Walmart. Paired it with a plant mister from Amazon for increased cooling effect. Should also prove to come in handy starting a campfire without getting on the ground, inhaling smoke and burning facial hair. Might even teach it to play the flute.

Hard to believe that such power can come out of such a small device

Hard to believe that such power can come out of such a small device. Easily fits in my pocket and cools me no matter where I am. Only drawback is it's a little noisy. High pitched the faster you go.
