The Nitecore MH40 Pro is a powerful long-throw flashlight that is ideal for hunting, search and rescue, patrolling, and more. Now featuring the innovative NiteLab UHi 40 MAX LED, the MH40 Pro can emit 3500 lumens and cast light up to a remarkable 1421 yards – that's more than half a mile! The MH40 Pro features 4 brightness modes along with Strobe, Beacon, and SOS modes so you can be prepared for any situation. The MH40 Pro also features a wireless remote switch that can be attached to any platform with a hook-and-loop fastener or straps. The MH40 Pro comes with a high-capacity USB-C rechargeable 10,000mAh battery that can power the MH40 Pro for 62 hours or can be used with other compatible batteries (2x 21700) for on-the-go use. To know when to charge, the MH40 Pro will vibrate when the battery is below 10% or you can use the LED indicator beneath the Mode button to check your battery status.

Ordered my mh40 on July 6 th flashlight came with a bad battery , Nitecore sent out another battery but it also did not perform the way it should so it was sent back to Nitecore under their instructions for testing . So unfortunately it looks like it will be at least a month before I am able to try the flashlight out .

This flashlight is more than I expected. Very POWERFUL
I've had this light for about 3 months. It's IMPRESSIVE to say the least. I probably have over $1200 invested in different flashlights. If you want something to see over 1,000 yards out you will not be disappointed. Excellent flood with 2 hot spots. One hot spot good for about 500 yards and the smaller hot spot good for about 1,000 plus yards. Genius!!

Mehhh, its ok. Just kidding, I've been holding out for a light like this for years. It has a stupid amount of throw. Almost like a laser beam but with enough spill so you can see a large area. I like it.
If it had on off switch on top would be easier to go to different levels of brightness
I would not recommend buying this flashlight because I bought it and made a mistake. The first thing I don’t like about this flashlight is that the glass wasn’t secured. In my flashlight, it’s either smaller than the head of the flashlight or it’s some kind of defect, but it constantly rattles and doesn’t stay in place even when the head is fully screwed onto the body.
Second, the batteries recommended for this flashlight also don’t fit properly—they’re loose and rattle inside. When using the flashlight, it constantly makes rattling noises.
And third, and most importantly, after about a couple of months of use, the beam of the flashlight stopped being circular and lost its shape because the LED shifted relative to the reflector. Now the flashlight still works and shines as before, but instead of a circle, the beam is now some kind of vague, irregular spot.
I live on a very large property with lots of open hills around me. This flashlight lights up EVERYTHING. When I want to know what's out there that my dog is barking at, this thing does not let me down. The throw on this is very impressive.

Just got a new MH40 Pro and am disappointed. IMHO it seems to only be a very tiny bit ‘better’ than my old P30i. I think the advertised 3500 lumens is very misleading since it is the turbo or some such mode which is that bright.
I have 6 other Nitecore flashlights and absolutely love every one of those. Thanks for building a great product, just caution the marketing folks that misleading claims might sell a few lights but will loose your well deserved reputation in the long run.

Love the light. It's exactly what I was looking for. Super bright and very light weight. Wish the quad rail mounts were solid not made of rubber though. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a long range light.
This is by far one of the best flashlights that I have owned and has a remote controller and superb brightness and battery capacity. Great flood and spot light. 10/10

Another one to my Nitecore collection
I use it a lot to look for my cat at night, I have a very large field in my backyard and it reaches beyond it. I bought for the fact that it is a thrower light and its high lumen. It is a super light flashlight for it’s size, and I will be buying a second one to keep in my truck. I would say if you are looking to reach at distance this would be a good light.
