Nitecore P30i 2000 Lumen 1093 Yard Long Throw Flashlight

Most powerful light I have ever seen or owned

It definitely shines light far out as stated. Its compact like in size. Its not heavy to hold. I only wish it shone outward somewhat too. This is what I requested though.

After 3 years of using this flashlight, I can say the following: The positive sides are that it is not large and bulky, it is relatively light and suitable for mounting on a weapon used for hunting, it delivers a large amount of light and the battery life is long (even in turbo mode), the controls for turning on and changing modes are easy to use The microswitch is also precise and cleverly designed. The negative sides that I experienced are: the ignition button is on the bottom of the battery and does not have side protection on the cover, so it happened to me a few times that my battery turned on unintentionally during use and during transport, this could have easily been solved if the cover was hanging on the side of the button and the button was not so exposed (I solved it by removing the cover by ⅓ of a turn) The other thing I didn't like was that the lamp uses special 21700 batteries with double poles that are not interchangeable with 21700 batteries from other manufacturers, which means that whoever buys the lamp must also take a spare battery. My conclusion is that this is a top-notch lampdurable and resistant and I recommend it to everyone, I am very satisfied in every way.
ps: there is no perfect product, every product has some minor or major flaws, the p30i is close to perfection.

There is a lot of flashlights out there but as someone who has tested it time and time again it’s a great light. Use it for coyote hunting and works great. I think 1000 yards is a stretch but 300+ yards works good enough to keep me happy.

The light is just what I was looking for and hoped to receive. One problem. The charging system was apparently defective. It would charge normally then the rapid blue flash indicating a problem would start. With this type of battery I take no chances with defects. I conversed with customer service, sent the unit back and look forward to receiving a fully functional replacement. I purchased the same light from Amazon for the same price just to compare and so far it has charged as described in the directions. The long throw is saber like. I would definitely recommend this light but for the charging issue (which will be corrected) it is damn near a perfect long throw flash light. . Will update upon receipt of new or corrected unit. I have 3 other Nitecore lights. Best light on the market. I will be giving my Surefire units to the local search and rescue team as in my opinion they do not perform as well as my NItecore lights.

This flashlight is good and being on the reservation, at times at night we have to go looking for our sheep, this flashlight is perfect, 1000 lumens is good enough but if I need that extra boost of lumens, Turbo mode is awesome. I am not a rancher but I would say this flashlight is good for that job.

Love this light and it's performance. Great throw. But the gripe is the rubber/silicone cover for the charging port.

The flashlight is awesome the throw on this thing is so far it's incredible really really like it I can literally light the whole field of way across a creek or house this thing is awesome

Not in use the battery will still need to be charged every two weeks or you will be dissapointed, most people would expect a full charge still when you need to use it.

Really like this light, I look forward to using it on deployments I think the throw will be a great benefit. I compared it to the previous model and there is a great difference. Maybe next wil be the P35.

I have never been disappointed in a nitecore light, and this one did nit break rank. It is very bright and the clarity is fantastic. At 4-500 yards I can still see the difference between brown horses and brown cows… can’t wait to take it on a pig hunt!!!

Very bright and effective

So I have several previous versions of the P30 - the 18650 and 21700 versions
It took me a little bit of time to order one of the P30i’s- big selling point is the integrated charging circuit, a big plus but not enough to make this a great light.
Pros:
Integrated charging circuit
Bright as the sun
Came with a momentary switch
Cons:
Requires use of proprietary NL2150HPI 21700’s
No lanyard hole
No strobe

Had this light come with some of the normal stuff I have come to expect from Nitecore I would have given it 5 stars.
Biggest downside is that I had invested in a ton of 21700 batteries and now had to buy a few more of a specific type of battery.

Excellent throw distance. I like it much better than my old p30.

Its bright. Its the best flashlight I own. I have lights ranging from 1000-4400lumens from nitecore and others.
Its better than most 12v car spotlights.
Mounted on a weapon? Ridiculous.
You won’t regret buying it. I regret not getting the hunting kit tbh.

The P30i is a serious searchlight. Just like Nitecore's other flashlight technology, it's the best. Small for the power and nicely machinned. The MH25S is similar with about half the throw, but has a much better battery life. I couldn't make up my mind, so I had to get both.

Bright and powerful beem , very nice long throw.

I bought it to use for navigating the water at night with my boat. So far this little light is an absolute beast!! I cuts right through the pitch black and I am able to find the reflective channel markers. I have been a nitecore customer for years and I can say that all their products are excellent. Highly recommend them.

Received a P30i with an issue. After a brief interaction with customer service, flashlight was replaced promptly. Great service.

I bought this flashlight to replace a previous flashlight I had for 8 years.
