The brightness button is almost impossible to feel. The plastic case is insulting

Bought the same one several years ago to use on my security corrections job. It was very reliable, loved the option of brightness. Especially loved the brightness memory which means when you use this flashlight it stays with the power selection you had when you turned it off, loved this feature; it's very durable no matter how many times it is dropped it continues to function. Love the size, dits comfortably in your hand, not roo short, not over large. Fits very comfortably on my uniform. All functions work all the time and conveniently located on the light. Never disappoints, can fully recharge in several minutes or you can use batteries as an option. I recommend just keep recharging. This was so nice I bought it twice.

You guys make great lights i dont even shop around anymore I just keep one of your lights on me always.

Adjustable brightness, long battery life. On par with previous versions of the "12 series" with added bonus of usb c charging.

It works fantastic..so far very happy with it but a bit pricey but seems well made for something made in China I f ing hate China

Bought as a backup for my mht12 gts so far the V2 works great. I like the familiarity of the controls between the V2 and the gts. The only thing I don’t like is how you check the battery voltage/power level. After it shows you, it automatically turns the light on. Otherwise the light’s great.

The quality is great does not weigh very much and it provides plenty of light and it can cover any area with plenty of light.. very dependable. Great to have for any emergency and for outdoor camping.. I would definitely recommend it.

Works great with the magnetic rifle mount

Replaced my MH12 (which I loved) with the MH12V2. I like the increased runtime of the V2, but the light seems to be about 1” longer than the original, which makes it a little uncomfortable for belt carry in the provided holster. If I can find my old MH12 (lost somewhere in the house) I’ll probably go back to carrying that and mount the V2 on my shotgun. But it’s a good light!

Great light for the price.

I positively love the low-power mode! Turbo mode is really bright, much more than I will typically need.
My only wish is that the mode selector switch was easier to locate and identify by touch. Such as a tri-position selector near the rear of the device. Right now there is no way to identify what mode the light is in without turning it on. If it was left in turbo mode then you will temporarily bind yourself (and everyone around you) while trying to find the selector switch.
With 63 days of runtime in low-power mode, I am replacing all of my MAGlights with this flashlight.

Works exactly as expected. The large battery size really doesn't add much size to the light. Love the large battery capacity.

This light is the best light I every bought. 1200 Lumens is amazing. Rechargeable battery. Awesome.

Very pleased with this light and accessories. Product shipped same day, and was received promptly. Having purchased by the 12v2 and the 12S, I would purchase the 12S next time. The smaller size and the brighter light are worth the small difference in price.

I paired this with a 1in M-Lok mount for my AR and it works perfectly. I only use the high lumen setting. Great construction and durability. Not quite as tight of a beam as pure bullseye, but not flood either. I think it's perfect.

Not sure why it’s so much longer than my E4K but it seems solid and puts out good light. Lots of details on the product page, which I love and great service

I usually don’t review but this light is where it’s at. Ive had and handled a lot of trashy and higher-end flashlights. Fenix, Surefire, Nebo & other competitors with nitecore are specifically my focus here. Ive had small ones, medium ones, big ones, focusing ones, customizable ones, headlamps and so on. Ive had several nitecores and my previous favorite was the p12. This one is a significant upgrade from that with some features. Im very rough on my equipment I use for work and out in the woods. This thing can be put through hell and still works great!
The thing I love about this light the most is the fact I can recharge it via cable. I can use a small battery pack for this and don’t have to pack several batteries for a week or two long trip in the bush.
All in all this light is my favorite I’ve ever owned and it gets a full 5 stars from me.

Nothing really bad can be said about this flashlight. It's powerful and also dim when you want it (which I use a lot). It seems like it could take a lot of damage, but I'm not going to test that on purpose.

The only thing I might have liked would be the ability to focus the beam, but this could compromise its durability, so whatever.

This is my first Nitecore purchase. The MH12 v2 is clearly a medium size EDC flashlight that incorporates a versatile tactical usage. This light is well balanced that has an extremely bright and focused beam. Its easily carried with the included holster or clip. The compact but hardy 21700 5000mAh battery has excellent life. A spare was also purchased to eliminate down time. Both the build quality and functionality of this particular product prompted me to also purchase two other lights, a 10,000mAh waterproof bank, and the UMS4 four bank battery charger. I highly recommend looking at the other array of items that are offered as you will not be disappointed with Nitecore’s selection, price point and warranty.
