Nitecore NTP31 Aluminum Alloy Tactical Bolt Action Pen

Always great doing business with Nitecore store and some of the best quality lights and tools I've ever had the pleasure to use, Nitecore batteries and chargers are in a class of their own couldn't be happier.

One pen didn’t work (ordered 2), I had to force the bolt to get either point to deploy. The glass breaker essentially doesn’t break glass. Tried it on multiple types and was very disappointed.

It has a good line while writing.

Could be somewhere around 3 inches longer. Some of us have big hands!

Appears innocuous but very well-made and functional. The pen qualities is excellent.

the Pen is everything it was advertised to do, I like the feel and ease in writing a smooth, dark script. However, I believe that if you sell the pen you should also sell the refills. I always want a replacement refill for every pen I own and it was not easy to find the necessary refill for this pen.

Love this Nitecore NTP31. This is a very cool tactical pen and I put them in all my kits. I love how it writes. Very simple and the bolt action is great. Price is perfect and beats those other expensive pens! Service is very good from Nitecore...love their products!!!

This flows flawlessly! The bolt action is neat, but with the pen in closed position and clipped into my chest pocket of my shirt it rotates slightly and changes the pocket line of my shirt (mute point but it looks a little sloppy). Have not had the opportunity to try the glass breaker yet, and to be honest I hope I never have to. Like it, use it every day, thanks again for another great Nightcore product.

Good pen for the price.

This pen is super light weight, and very low profile. It DOES NOT look Tactical. It writes flawlessly and fits in without drawing attention.

Gave this to my Father in law who loves it. He says it feels good in his hand & writes really nice.

Solid build on this pen. Holds bolt position very well. A little smooth to write with.

Works like a pen, good finish

The pen appears no different from a normal pen, which works with my job. The clip is strong and I never worry about misplacing the pen.
I like this pen over pens with screw-off tops or other mechanisms. I am not required to unsheath the pen in an emergency, which works well for me.
All-in-all exactly what I was looking for.

I wanted another Tactical pen. Have only used it a couple of times. Writes nice but not very smooth operation when changing from writing to closed or to glass breaker mode. Much rougher operation than I expected. Could have been much smoother operation.

I have larger tactical pens with the glass break tip always exposed. Those are handy, but sometimes you just want a more svelte pen that would fit in in a typical business setting. The NTP31 fills the bill perfectly. Slender, well-made, has a great feel. Totally love the sliding bolt action both ways. Smooth action. Down for the pen, up for the breaker tip. (Note: works for both right-handed and left-handed individuals.) The pen writes well and the cartridge can be replaced by any Parker refill or Fisher refill with adapter. I have not had to use the breaker tip yet. The clip appears well made and sturdy. If you had a lot of glass to break or if you needed a pen with some heft for compliance use, you might want to reach for a larger tactical pen. I'm not in that category so I think this pen makes it into my EDC set.

I think this is overpriced for what it is. The quality is fine, but I'm not sure it would hold up in a self defense situation. So I now own a nice but expensive gel ink pen. You do get what you pay for and if you really want a tactical pen, but the solid titanium one.

I have been purchasing different tactical pens in search of the perfect one. This one is by far the best I've come across. Sleek design-tactical without looking so bulky. It writes great, and this is important as some tactical pens out there seem to forget they are pens. Also takes easily found refills which I've already bought as I prefer a fine tip. An elegant, functional tool.

The clip snagged on a piece of plastic and nearly bent off. Wish it would have been made stronger and more durable(the clip). The pen is a great concept and well built just wish the clip was more durable.

Excellent writing and smooth with little or no effort. Sleek and narrow fits perfectly in your hand. Very durable outer shell .Truly lives up to the hype.

Great pen

This is a great pen, with a high quality build. This pen writes very smoothly and the "Bolt" action is very addictive. I really like this pen (I actually look forward to doing reports, so that I can use it... Lol) ...!!!
