The Nitecore MT2C Pro is an excellent lightweight everyday carry light that delivers a powerful beam and throw, all while maintaining its compact design at under 5 inches in length. Equipped with Nitecore’s UHi 20 LED, the MT2C Pro emits an impressive 1800 lumens and can reach distances of up to 568 yards. Weighing just over 4 ounces, this flashlight is highly portable and can easily fit in your pocket. Alternatively, you can use the clip to attach it to backpacks, belts, or other items for quick access. Additionally, the MT2C Pro can withstand impacts of up to 2 meters, holds an IP68 rating, and employs patented advanced temperature regulation, ensuring reliable performance in any environment.
Easy To Use
Operating the MT2C Pro is simple. To access its High Mode, fully press the tail switch. For Low Mode, turn off and quickly turn the light back on again. For momentary illumination, when the light is off, half-press the tail switch to access High Mode, then release and promptly half-press again to access Low Mode momentarily.
Multiple Power Options
Powering the MT2C Pro Pro is flexible, as it can operate with the included USB-C rechargeable Nitecore NL1836R battery, two RCR123 batteries, or two CR123 batteries. When powered by the NL1836R battery, the MT2C Pro can run for up to 28 hours before requiring a recharge.

Customers praised this compact EDC flashlight for exceptional brightness and simplicity. Many said it's "like having the sun in your hand" with impressive throw distance. The two-mode operation (high/low) is valued for tactical situations. However, some noted the light heats up quickly, low setting could be brighter, and the recessed button can be difficult for one-handed operation.
Purchased 2 of these a couple weeks ago ago, light power is awesome. But, why would they design a rechargeable flashlight that you have to take the battery out of and plug the USB port into? All other flashlights I have purchased have been fantastic, but this one should go back to the drawing board…
Being a retired LEO, I wanted an EDC flashlight that could also be used in a tactical situation if needed. Luckily Nitecore is well known in Law Enforcement so there was no need to shop anywhere else. The MT2C Pro checks all the boxes for me. Its size is ideal for EDC (not too big & bulky, & not too small), & it can be used to gain a tactical advantage against a threat because its “operational simplicity” is its strength. The pocket clip has just the right amount of grip too so it stays put in one’s pocket, yet can easily be accessed & deployed without needing great strength to do so.
1 click of the tail switch & instant blinding light is deployed. This is what I meant when I said “operational simplicity” a bit earlier in my review. And for the price, it just can’t be beat. The build quality is top shelf & I expect many years of trouble-free use from it.
The low level by the way is on par with that of a smartphone, but has way better throw so you don’t have to be right up on something to see it clearly. And it’s just as easy to access via the tail switch.
Also, ordering online was straightforward & shipping from the Nitecore Store was lightning fast too! The only thing I’d like to see this light have is a glass-break bezel. Not a deal breaker by any means, just think it’s the only thing missing from an otherwise perfect EDC flashlight.

Flashlight is awesome, but i do wish the lower lumens was at like 250 or 300. But good flashlight and it is bright, beware the light end gets hot really fast.

Excellent light. Glad my co-worker sold me on the simplicity and functionality of this little light. Super bright and all in a compact container.
It has a good longer though but only two settings not the best for up close. I almost sent it back.

This is hands down the best no thrills light I have ever owned , two light modes high and low , compact size and rechargeable long lasting must have flashlight ever. Highly recommend would buy again.

Im and Environmental Police Officer working night's. I've had a few lights over the years. This works out perfectly. Small, powerful and simple to use.
The MT2C is quite bright. I feel the low setting could a bit brighter. I would have liked a strobe feature, but that's just me. Other than that it is a great pocket sized etc light.

The light is compact and bright. What i like about it is there's one setting for the brightness. No clicking or double clicking to get to the brightness you want

Absolutely a great light for the money. Great compact size with a brilliant beam of light that is focused and cuts through the clutter. Really reaches out and lights up your world. Top all that off with a great rechargeable battery.
As the title says, this isn't necessarily the perfect light, but it's basically the perfect execution of what this light is supposed to be. It's compact yet powerful, it's dead simple and predictable. It does get warm fairly quickly, but that's unavoidable for a light with this kind of output that's this size. This is not the ideal "enthusiast's" flashlight, this IS ideal for people who need a small but powerful and most importantly SIMPLE light. The absolute best thing about it is that it ALWAYS starts on high, and if you want low you just double tap quickly.
No confusion, no fiddling, there are only two options and they're both dead simple to use. For the price, this might ALSO be the best compact light for law enforcement, it has sufficient candela to push through window tint on vehicles, and can reach quite a distance when searching for people or objects. For the record I am not a cop, but I have multiple friends who are and they love this thing, they're all looking to buy them. And I plan to buy more as holiday gifts for a few family members who need a high quality, but uncomplicated flashlight.

This is an unbelievable light. So unbelievable that everyone I show it to wants one so I’ll be buying 5 more for Christmas presents.
Single button operation, multi fuel, compact, sturdy clip lid and body, bright af, land yard and cable included. EDC is upgraded with it. Good work Nitecore.
Best flashlight I bought, with a powerful hotspot by the size of the battery and construction is very solid and pocket friendly.

This little fella fits in your pocket and throws the light where you need it.
I work a job where I am in crawlspaces and attics most days. With this torch, I find it illuminates my work space and more.
It has spotted what my headlamp couldn't and at distances I'm tickled by.
