- Type F: NU30 (2016 ver. only) and NU32 (Discontinued)
- Type G: NU20 Classic (only)
- Type H: NU25 MCT (not compatible with older NU25)
- Type I: NU25 MCT UL (includes headband)

- Type L: NU30, NU31 and NU33

Replacement bracket for headlamp series that customers described as a "perfect replacement" with "fast shipping." While many praised the exact fit and availability of parts, some noted the bracket's plastic construction is fragile and breaks easily. Several customers mentioned compatibility issues with older models and expressed frustration about the bracket's durability.
I used these parts and replacement elastic bands from another model to refurbish three other headlamps that had the elastic cords on them. Everything worked great and it's like I got three brand new pair of headlamps for less than the price of one.
It wasn't exactly what I had before, but I got it to work.
The bracket did fit. Initial order was not matched with product ordered. After several emails with customer service and explaining I received the wrong material from them they sent the correct product to fit my replacement. Should not have been a big deal for a $4.99 plastic bracket that broke 1 year after purchase.

Did not fit. I think I have an older version of the 20 and there was no indication on the website that the bracket wouldn't fit and no bracket for the older version. It's gonna cost more to get a refund than it's worth.
I bought the NU43, which is USB rechargeable, and I am so impressed with both the functionality and the quality. Looks like everything you make is top-notch. So glad to have recently found you.
Terrible. Lowest quality plastic. Repeatedly breaks. Customer service gives the runaround. Bracket doesn't come with the foam pad.

The original survived 3 falls onto the concrete. But that was is and a corner of the bracket broke off. Thankfully spare parts are available. Now if only they sell the headband!!! Ut27 is phenomenal for running.

I received a different part from the picture shown. It appear to work on only newer models of the NU25. Mine is the older with the old style headband. I do see where there is an attempt to describe the limitation but the picturewas showing what I needed and not what
I received.

Q: Why is this part so commonly needed that they sell it separately?
A: It's both fragile and insecure, by design.
The bracket and body snap together and are designed to "break away" from one another at the hinge if enough force is applied (i.e. insecure) -- presumably to prevent actually breaking either part, which is nice in theory -- but the bracket ends up breaking anyway (i.e. fragile) in the exact spot that's supposed to give enough not to break. A nylon-reinforced plastic would help, but they still use what seems like plain old ABS. A new design would be a lot better.
This is the third Nitecore headlamp bracket that's done this to me. A headlamp that's at risk of falling off at any moment is worse than no headlamp at all. I only continued buying them because Nitecore was one of the only brands that offered USB-C recharging. Now that Biolite has added that feature, I'll be switching.
I have an older NU25 charged with an USB-A cable. The mounting pins on the bracket is too wide to attach to my NU25 lamp body. Also, the mounting pins are too far from the backplate and the notches to change the light angle don't contact the backplate.
Took 11 days to receive my order from Austin Texas to Michigan. Thumbs down!
Shipped quick, as described, and replaced my broken part
The original piece broke because it isn't a good design. Based on the sales and availability of the bracket on the internet, it would seem the manufacturer knows it's a faulty design but instead of redesigning it you simply sell replacements. That probably helps with profitability but not with reputation so much.
Easy to snap on to the light housing. Solid tight fit.

FANTASTIC! I thought my NU50 was toast when the bracket broke. This bracket fit perfect and seems to be a better and stronger fit then the original. I own around 12 different headlamps and the NU50 is my favorite. Thank you Nitecore for having a replacement bracket for my NU50!

Thanks for the replacement, its a quick and easy way to replace it. I use mine for bowfishing, and theres alot going on. So I've dropped it and unfortunately the bracket breaks where it holds the light. But I love the light itself!
They know it is an issue with the flimsy plastic breaking. That why they started selling replacement parts to begin with. I was expecting something made of better material if not a redesign altogether. Headlamp is useless without it. The fact that they are even charging for these is the reason I will never buy nitecore products again.
