I didn't like the way mine was designed and so over time I tore it down and rebuilt.
The way it comes I had to take the battery out every time I wanted to charge which was every day given that I use it at least a hour a day.
I bought a Rigid headband from Mills Fleetfarm that is intended to be for welding helmets.
I built my new headlamp on the Fleetfarm headband.
I glued the Nitecore battery into the Nitecore charger and then mounted the charger to the side of the Rigid headband , had to solder wires and build a positive post coming out of the led light section , what a pita but in the end I ended up with a nice headlamp system that I can now simply plug in just like you would a cell phone.
Since rebuilding i no longer have to remove the battery every time I want to charge
I don't recommend buying the HC33 unless Nitecore redesigns it.
