Great handheld flashlight that can easily go in your pocket, on your vest, anywhere you need it.

Good light

It is between a 4&5 star light. It has amazing power and a pretty simple ui. It really needs a simpler ui. Something that allows me to get to the 3 modes directly without error. I need low for kind of menu lighting. Medium for looking around the area around me. I also need high on demand for lighting up a defensive encounter.

So, it is a good light that could be a bit better.

A little beast!

So, I already had/have a MT2A Pro. so it was kind of a no brainer to add the excellent MT1A Pro. Though, I would certainly have better names. "Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress, Mighty Midget, Slim Pickens, Darth Vader? Anyway, I like it even more the the MT2APro, smaller, lighter, shorter, and even a tighter beam. Wha? Yea, it's tighter than the other one. So now, I have to decide which one is my personal EDC. Well, the Mighty Midget has it. Oh, and I bought a spare battery with it. And, I tried it with a single AA battery. Works just fine. Obviously, not as bright but, very usable.

I Switched.

I'm a first responder, a volunteer firefighter. As such, you never know when you're going to be called out of your home to respond to an incident, and you have to be ready to do it in low light conditions. for a long time. I carried a small, compact flashlight from coast, and it was a good flashlight. but I wanted something a little bit smaller, and capable of using both aA batteries and a rechargeable battery. The Nightcore MT1A pro 800 rechargeable flashlight seemed like a good choice. I haven't been carrying it very long yet, but so far it seems to be meeting my needs.
