Absolutely love this thing. The ease of AA’s is what sold me. You can buy AA’s in bulk at all the wholesale stores or Walmart for cheap. Seriously bright as heck also for only being powered by two cheap throw away batteries. I’m tempted to buy the smaller single aa version that throws 800 lumens.
This flashlight is excellent! The rechargeable battery is very cool and unique. Also they aren't kidding about the heat warning. I've melted the cap to my pepper spray that was in my pocket and burned a small hole in a pair of joggers.
Good, powerful little light to have. However, you have to take the rechargeable battery out of the flashlight in order to charge it. Also, the two metal eyelets at tail end get in the way of depressing the tail switch.
I’ve had one for around four years and it’s been great. I’m currently reordering some accessories I’ve lost and they were relatively inexpensive.

As law enforcement, this flashlight is a great back up to my main light. The light is crisp and very bright. The throw is pretty decent as well.

Perfect size to slip in pocket or pack without significant weight.
Haven't tested rechargeable battery run time yet but ordered an additional battery just in case...can always just slip in a couple of AAs as a backup.
I bought this for my wife who is in an apprenticeship program to be an electrician. She really likes this flash light for a few reasons, the spiral clip where she can clip it to a hat and use it as a headlamp, the not over-complicated controls and that it has the rechargeable battery as well as being able to use AA batteries. This is a great flash light and it is typical Nitecore high build quality.

Love it. Absolutely the best pen light l've owned. I only have one complaint...the clip has already gone MIA. Got on the web site to ask for a replacement and then I'll GLUE it in place. IF I can get another.
I use this one to carry in my pocket at work and use the MT1A on the bib of my hat. This light is far better than any streamlight you buy now and far superior to any olightI've seen.

Great light, durable and bright, battery will last a few days before recharging mind you I’m a mechanic and it sees daily use, although is small enough to fit in your pocket I found that it will fit perfectly in the belt pouch for the maglite mini, looking to get a 2nd battery for back up

Other than being a little thick for a pen light, the light is great. Very bright. When pointed at night sky looks like a search light. Love it!
Great little flash light to have ! Fits in your pocket , clips to a shirt or belt , has lanyard to hold . Super spotlight bright or you can dim if needed . Best thing is you can recharge it w/usb cable provided or use standard batteries . Even comes with a warranty
Simple yet effective light good for multiple uses.
The long slim design of this light allows you to better illuminate things that a shorter fatter light won't....engine compartment, drain, etc. The light has.tight hot spot with gentle spill. Ended up buying a second one.
So far an amazing light. Compact, no need to learn programming, and quite bright. No complaints.
