NTC2i U-shape Tail Cap

The NTC2i U-shape tail cap is designed to prevent the flashlight from turning on accidentally while in a holster or pocket. The raised parapets along the rim of the tail cap protect the tail switch like guardrails over a cliff face. Additionally, the raised portions now provide the ability to tail stand your wonderful iSeries flashlight for moments of reprieve as well as providing a durable anchor point for lanyard loupes. The NTC2i is made from a durable aero grade aluminum alloy for all of Nitecore's iSeries flashlights. An excellent addition to take your tactical light to the next level.

Tail cap protects flashlight from turning on by itself when in a bag.

It is nice to have the tail cap so you can stand up the flashlight and to protect it from turning ON where you carry it in a bag.

The new end cap design is very nice. Only issue is I didn’t receive a new o-ring gasket had to reuse old one.

Should be standard equipment these flashlights!

To me it's about protection as much as tail standing. The design placement moves the impact stress points out to the edges of the cylinder, the strongest piece of the total design. I'd rather my light falls on these points rather than anywhere on the switch assembly!

Upgrade time!

I’m a night shift LEO and have used the P20iX nightly for 2 years. This light is amazing! It has never lets me down. I ordered the enhanced tail cap and another battery. Nitecore got the parts to me quick and they both work perfectly. Keep up the great work!

Tail cap replacement

Replaced original tail cap to P20i to minimize accidentally turning on the flashlight in my shoulder bag while on the job. Works as intended, no more melted holes in polyester bags.

I wish my flashlight had this protected tail switch when I first got it. It would have saved me from having some burns on my truck seat from accidental activations.
