The Nitecore NU27 rechargeable headlamp is the ideal companion for various activities such as camping, hiking, trail running, and more. Extremely light, very comfortable, great headband with air able to pass through. Reflective sides, three temperature settings with red light mode. 600 lumens is like having a car light on the trail. This is a no brainer purchase.
As advertised
I use the headlamp for hobbies, putting light right where I need it. It is lightweight and comfortable to wear for hours at a time. I use a lower power setting meaning usage time between recharging is phenomenal.
This is definitely a good pocket light for those times you could really use your hands-free for short tasks. It's also good for emergency use around the house. I really don't have much in the negative with one exception. The Beam profile is such that there is a box effect. There's a sharp line across the top sides and bottom and that is very noticeable and distracting. Outside it's not that much of a big deal but inside the house it is definitely distracting so much so that I won't be using it for what I ordered it for. The beam profile on the NU 25MCT is what they should've went after in my opinion. As far as comfort goes I found the NU 25 to be more comfortable than the NU 27. Great light for a great price though.

Light and bright
Really like the NU24 it’s light, rechargeable and has multi color temperatures. The warm white is great for tasks around camp.
The headlamp is super lightweight and super bright! It has a gazillion settings, which is a little confusing to operate ... but I'm getting better at using it with practice. I have only used it around the house and yard so far but plan to use it on a Colorado archery hunt in September so I will update my review after that.
This headlamp is as advertised. Totally worth it to me.
I love it. Had to replace my NU25 so I upgraded to this. Put the old lightweight headband on and it’s perfect. I wish it had a green light.
Awesome product for long walks and running
RED LED does not work. Yes I followed the instructions. I have several different models of NITECORE headlamps. This is the only model that the RED led does not work. Perhaps, just perhaps I do not understand how to operate this item, but I doubt it.

I purchased this headlamp after reading a review on Outside. The headlamp is as good as reported. Super light weight with a long broadcasting light and choices of settings. I love it!
This versatile headlamp excels with three distinct lighting modes, including a notably pleasant yellow setting. The unit is thoughtfully designed, featuring a compact, waterproof build and convenient rechargeable battery. All brightness settings perform effectively, making it highly functional for outdoor use. The only drawback is a distinct hard edge in the light pattern, observed in multiple units, which creates a visible border at the bottom of one's field of view. While users tend to adapt to this quirk over time during activities like hiking, those who notice it may find it persistently distracting.
Its lite and the on off buttons are easier to use than some of my other Nitecore head flashlights. I have not quantified run time. I use it mostly on max output. I am near a farm and there no sources of light and it is pitch dark. This laser torch lights it up and keeps me safe. I would be in the dark without it.

Ordered this for a recent elk hunt in Wyoming. Did not need to use this a lot but when I did, it was easy to use and lasted all week of hunting. Used in the morning to get to spotting locations in the dark and at night in camp preparing supper. Very easy to use.
This headlamp is a keeper for ultralight backpackers and trail runners. I like the broad coverage of the light beam on all intensity settings and am impressed by the battery life. Super low is bright enough to light a path and has 57 hours of stated battery life.
