Wireless and Wired Charging Options
Utilizing five lighting indicators, the NW5000 keeps you informed about its power level and wireless charging status. Four blue lights indicate the remaining power, while a white wireless charging indicator flashes three times to signify that wireless charging is available. Once the NW5000 detects the device, both the power indicators and the wireless charging indicator will remain steady, indicating it has entered wireless charging mode. The NW5000 also includes a low-current mode compatible with devices such as wireless headphones and smartwatches. Double-press the mode button, and the four blue power indicators will light up one by one, signaling the activation of low-current mode. A short press of the Mode Button again exits low-current mode while the power indicators are on to indicate the remaining battery power. For travelers, the NW5000 is approved for airline travel following UN38.3 protocols.

Customers praised this 5000mAh magnetic wireless power bank for its compact, light design and strong magnetic attachment. Many noted "charges really fast" and appreciated its portability. However, a recurring concern is heat generation during charging, with several reporting it gets "extremely hot" and may pause charging. Charging capacity varies, with some achieving full recharges while others report less.
Love this battery and have been using it daily for about 2 months. Yes as other reviews have said it does get very hot while charging your phone, after awhile it stops charging your phone and cools down then continues. But for my use I’m generally using it right after I wake up and my is phone at 100% and the NW5000 is at 100% and it last me throughout the morning keeping my phone at 100% till around 12pm depending on how much I use my phone.
I will say it is a durable enough to survive in my pocket while I’m doing solar work and other things on the job.
It has slid off a 2 story roof and survived with minor dents in the corner and very minimal scratching.
Overall a good battery to boost your battery life and pretty durable just gets hots and takes breaks depending on how much you use your phone.

I have a 10k and 20k carbon battery bank and they are great. I use them mostly for bikepacking. My phone often gets damp in the charging port and I’ve been on bikepacking trips where I couldn’t charge my phone so wanted a MagSafe battery bank. My phone gets max of half a charge with this battery bank. I notified warranty claims and sent it in but no change on the one they sent back. I would not purchase this, they told me there is not a refund option so I guess I’ll try and use it corded and see if that makes it a useable product. My phone is an iPhone 15 pro for reference.
Works fast at charging and convenient to attach to your phone. It does start getting warm fast!!
Do NOT buy this battery. Size is perfect...nice and slim but this thing gets WAY too hot and does not fully charge a phone. Very disappointed.

It gets hot enough to stop my phone from charging. The reason I bought this was to charge my phone.
Otherwise, it is very light and compact. I like it and would live it if it did not get hot. I would not care if it charged a little slower if it stayed cool.
I have and love the 20Ah CF charger, and was super excited to learn about the 5Ah wireless charging version. It's light and well-built. Now if only they'd make a 100+ W PD version...
Very light. Can easily be carried on your person. Good for a full cell phone recharge. Highly recommended.
The magnetic attachment holds the Power Bank strongly on the IPhone and start to charge once it is attached.
This unit is light and compact and seems well designed. I also appreciate the available low power charging mode. It holds to the phone and charges well and took my iPhone 15 to 98% from about 40% and kept it there while using it for a couple hours before reaching less than 25% on the NW5000 wireless charger. During that time, however, it was producing a not insignificant amount of heat at times to where it became uncomfortably warm in my hand - not to where I couldn’t hold it but … uncomfortably warm. I reached out to nitecorestore support to inquire as to whether this was normal and they responded quickly and assured me it was operating normally. They said it might get uncomfortably warm to the touch but would not present a burn hazard. I do not own any other wireless chargers so I have no basis for comparison but you may want to take it into consideration when purchasing. Other than that one caveat, I am satisfied with this purchase.
I'm sure it has the capacity it is advertised at, but charging wirelessly only gives my phone one full charge, when it should do 2. Of course we all know how inefficient wireless charging is, but this seems to be particularly bad. It gets really hot when charging. Despite that, it is very handy to carry around with me instead of a charger. I like it.
Never a problem. CS is great for times I had product questions. I’ve had so many people ask about their products once they see mine. I don’t shop anywhere else for top quality lighting products.

I bought this to utilize in the field so that I would not have to worry about cable failures and so that I could put it on my phone and put it in my pocket without the charger and phone banging together as I walked.
Works great and fits my iPhone perfectly and has a nice solid feel. Only rated it 4 stars because it only charged my phone from dead to 56% and I believe you are supposed to get 2 charges out of it.
No worries since I also brought the 20000 Carbon Nitecore so I would have plenty of power but unfortunately that did not work at all as it was a complete failure.
So far it seems to function well. How long the battery lasts is yet to be determined.
