The Nitecore TINI 3 is a lightweight, multi-color temperature keychain flashlight that delivers up to 600 lumens with a beam distance of 98 yards—perfect for everyday carry, camping, and hiking. Compared to its predecessor, the TINI 3 is brighter, throws farther, runs longer, and offers more lighting options. Its new Multiple Color Temperature (MCT) LEDs let you switch between warm, neutral, and cool light, optimizing visibility and comfort in any weather, terrain, or lighting condition. I’d give this light a 4.5 but could only put 4 stars due to the lack of the 30 second timeout/shutoff function the earlier version lights had. The color temp change is very cool though and very distinct. The difference is very noticeable from very warm, to a perfect blend, to very cool yet each temperature has its own purpose and ambiance as far as functionally. I’m a banquet event supervisor working at many venues behind the scenes and after dark so the 30 second timeout was a nice feature so I wouldn’t drain the bathery with a “pocket dial” activation— but most users probably aren’t worried about this. Either way it’s a great light with incredible flood beam for its size and very useful for navigating a dark path or supplying area lighting. The OLED display is truly next gen with the info it provides and as I type/ think about this I’m changing my rating to a five star. Battery life is great too. Just bring back the timeout in the next version and this light will be perfect!
