Love the quick charge

At first I didn't like the idea of charging the battery without the flashlight but it makes sense to have one battery charging while the other is in the flash light.

Nice three levels of light.

By far the best light I've owned, Im a correctional Officer and its sleek design easy button access and multi brightness modes work great for me. The only thing that would make it better was if it was magnetic but that is it. Easy 10/10

First things first, my OG EDC27 multi-switch failed roughly 2 months after purchase, and I contacted Nitecore who promptly shipped a new unit, for full transparency in this review.

About the ONLY bad (kinda) with this EDC is the learning curve, i.e. muscle memory. Basically you have the multi main switch, and the "zombie/bright" switch. You can full or half click the main switch, and momentary the alt switch. Even reading, and knowing what each switch does ahead of time, you will still fumble around in the beginning getting used to the features, but that's almost always the case, with a new unit/operation.

All brightness levels were accurate, and usable, and the FULL bright (and zombie flash) on the alt switch as well. Well built, self contained, USB-C charging, and bright display. Because it puts off some heat under the higher lumen levels, it can also throttle if the light is obstructed. A well thought out unit, with a beefy belt clip. Hard to complain.

I was not sure if this would really work or not. I was on the fence about purchasing it. I am so happy I did!!
I use it almost every night walking through the wooded park trails. Not bothered by mosquitoes, buds, NOTHING. I absolutely love it. It makes me want to go outside again knowing I am not going to get bit or buds flying in my face.

Amazing product, great price. The performance is a lot better than expected.

The Nitecore NU20 is a very lightweight, exceptional light source that can be used in countless situations. The red light to minimally disturb night vision (getting up in the middle of the night), or the bright white light for night time trail hiking. This headlamp has exceeded my expectations!
