Nitecore MT1A Pro 800 Lumen Rechargeable EDC Flashlight, Use 1xAA

I have used many flashlights over the years and this is now my favorite AA size light by far. The 50 lumens for 10 hours is just perfect for my EDC. Being able to light up the night with 800 lumens when needed, in a flashlight this small and light, is amazing! I also love the rechargeable battery and being able to use AA in a pinch. I grew up with huge, heavy flashlights that only had around 40 lumens max. Nitecore is producing awesome products and I plan on getting many more!

Great Flashlight! Super bright! A little bulky in the pocket compared to what I’m used to which is a Streamlight Microstream(another great flashlight, btw). Another feature that’s a little unhandy is not being able to charge it from the outside of the flashlight. You have to take the battery out and plug the cord directly into the battery. But that also means more waterproof. My microsteam got ruined by getting water in that exterior charge port. Overall an awesome EDC light.

Great light! The pocket carry is ideal, the output and throw is excellent and the rechargeable battery makes this practical. I'm glad this has the capability of using common AA batteries. Nitecore is A+ always!

This is one FANTASTIC light. The power to size ratio is insane and I am very impressed. I watched many reviews and decided to take a chance. I'm so glad I did and I look forward to getting another one of these and trying other flashlights too. If you're on the fence, just go for it! Trust me

So, I already had/have a MT2A Pro. so it was kind of a no brainer to add the excellent MT1A Pro. Though, I would certainly have better names. "Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress, Mighty Midget, Slim Pickens, Darth Vader? Anyway, I like it even more the the MT2APro, smaller, lighter, shorter, and even a tighter beam. Wha? Yea, it's tighter than the other one. So now, I have to decide which one is my personal EDC. Well, the Mighty Midget has it. Oh, and I bought a spare battery with it. And, I tried it with a single AA battery. Works just fine. Obviously, not as bright but, very usable.

For about $40 I thought I would give it a shot. I was looking for a small but powerful EDC pocket light. I wanted something under 4" but with crazy high throw. I have Streamlites so that I was what I was comparing it too. I got the light quickly after ordering and took it outside after dark. I even make a video about it. I could easily light up and PID things at 100 yards. For the size and price....Nitecore OVER-delivered on this light. The value to cost ratio and made me a huge Nitecore fan. I'll be looking to Nitecore first when looking for my next light. Well done Nitecore...well done.

For me the only thing that keeps this light from being perfect is it has no battery life indicator lights. But that’s a nitpick. To have the option to use AA batteries or the rechargeable NL1411R battery is awesome.

Purchased this when it first was released as I was hoping to find a quality EDC light wasn't too large and bulky but delivered a decent beam strength. This flashlight fit the bill to a T. It gives the light I need, when I need it and has a decent run time with an about average recharge time using their newly developed battery sized for this light. The battery is so new, I have not been able to pull any specs up on it on their site other than it being mentioned in the flashlight listing. Hopefully that will change as I like to keep an extra battery on hand for those extended run time needs. All in all, I would recommend this flashlight to anyone wanting a compact powerhouse that doesn't take up too much space nor breaks the bank.

Nice flashlight. Great for edc, a light for emergency to leave in your vehicle or to go walk your dog at night. I like that it is rechargeable or can also run on a standard double AA battery. Highly recommend.

I had one for a few years, but I lost it on a trip last month. So I ordered a new one because I know that it's a well built light and I never had any trouble with it working. I also have the EDC 35 and use it as a back up. Both are good investments as far as dependable lights.

Great Little light, plenty bright.

This flashlight is compact and easily carried in a pocket.However, it get hot to the touch when on high and the battery really doesn’t last long. The rechargeable battery is nice.

Brightest little light I've ever owned

I bought two and I liked them so much that I bought two more to give as presents.

It is what I use every day for work. The 800 lums are great for lighting up the equipment that I need to inspect and the other two settings are great for reading fine print.
I was concerned about the larger diameter not fitting in the outer pen hole on my shirt pocket of my uniform, but it fits great.
Love the upgrade of 800 lums from the 500 that I was using.

The little light is great for me at work. I can clip it to my hat without it weighing it down. Only thing I wish it had was a way to adjust the beam to more of a flood type beam. It has both flood and spot in one but for me personally the option to turn off the spot and go flood light only I think might work better for me at work.

Excellent little pocket light, great focal lens for solid beam. Three levels of power with concentrated beam. It charges quick but can alson run on a standard AAA battery!

I love this flashlight. It is my everyday light and I seem to use it many times a day. I purchased 5 of them to give to my friends for Christmas. They all love them.

Small , but throws a lot of light.

This thing is small and light! It is incredibly bright for such a small tool. You won't even notice it in your pocket. I highly recommend you give this one a try guys. Very fair price. Go for it! I'm a Correctional Officer and I just keep it in my pocket versus having a big heavy light. 5/5 buy with confidence. Again, it's very small!

Best AA-sized EDC light out there. Simple, effective, reliable.
