Easy Operation
The NEW P30 is a long range lighting solution with intuitive controls for easy operation. Tap the tail switch for momentary-on or fully depress for constant illumination. While the light is on, tap the mode button to cycle through brightness settings, or hold down to access your special modes: strobe, beacon, SOS.

I bought one of these in the hunting kit a couple years ago. Liked it so much, I bought another one (just the flashlight). Very nice light! Super bright. Love the option to select brightness but, they are fragile. Not in the housing. It's well built. Something in the components is fragile. When i recieved the 2nd one, it never worked right out of the box. Charged all my batteries and would only get a small dim LED light to come on. It went away when i went thru the brightness selection button. Came back on real dim on the lowest setting. My bad for not returning it immediately. It never did work. The first one I bought, I was getting out of the truck a couple weeks ago and it fell to the ground on the grass. Turned it on and it's doin the same thing that the other one is doing, one small LED light lit up. So now I have two really nice unusable lights. While the housings are built very very well, they could use a little bit of rubber on them somewhere so if they do fall, the rubber will absorb the impact. While I'd love to purchase another one, I won't, just for the chance of this happening again and plus, they're not cheap. Gonna start my search for a new brand somewhere.
I have purchased a number of products from Nitecore over the years and I have found them to be a great company to deal with and their products to be innovative and well made.
This flashlight is another well made,well designed tool that I am happy to add to my collection .

Very bright focused beam couldn't ask for any better perfect for what I needed
The New P30 is awsome and I use it everyday, but the mode button on the front is not necessary...1) it's hard to find in the dark...2) when I hold the flashlight between my shoulder and cheek, it changes modes.
Please put all Modes through the tail cap, its faster and it could save your life.
