I Switched.

I'm a first responder, a volunteer firefighter. As such, you never know when you're going to be called out of your home to respond to an incident, and you have to be ready to do it in low light conditions. for a long time. I carried a small, compact flashlight from coast, and it was a good flashlight. but I wanted something a little bit smaller, and capable of using both aA batteries and a rechargeable battery. The Nightcore MT1A pro 800 rechargeable flashlight seemed like a good choice. I haven't been carrying it very long yet, but so far it seems to be meeting my needs.

been using this light for almost 6 months and I really do like this light the brightness settings are really good. There’s no useless strobe or SOS. And when you use this light on the brightest setting, it is really bright and it doesn’t feel like it's burning your hand like most lights when you leave it on for a long time. People with big hands might not like this light It is really small. I have medium size hands and it’s still slightly small, in the hand the tail cap works great. It has no momentary so you will have to click it on and off each time I have not tried it with A single AA battery, but I tried it with the stock battery and it works great and lasts for a long time the two only negatives I can say about this light is the clip is a two way clip and usually when they do that, it doesn’t have enough retention for the pocket clip to secure tight enough on your pants and that’s what I’ve noticed. it does get loose and I’ve had it slip out my pocket but The end that you can clip on a hat works great. It would be nice if they made two clips for this light and if they had a momentary tell cap like the other lights, also if they did just those two things, this thing would be totally perfect but all in all are really good light and I have two of these

Very bright little light, you don’t even notice you have it in your pocket and then if you have no way of charging batteries, you stick a AA in and you get to go not as much power, but you still have light

Great little light!

Very bright for its size! 1100mah battery lasts a long time between charging. Clip is compact, have found a negative yet!

WOW!!!

For about $40 I thought I would give it a shot. I was looking for a small but powerful EDC pocket light. I wanted something under 4" but with crazy high throw. I have Streamlites so that I was what I was comparing it too. I got the light quickly after ordering and took it outside after dark. I even make a video about it. I could easily light up and PID things at 100 yards. For the size and price....Nitecore OVER-delivered on this light. The value to cost ratio and made me a huge Nitecore fan. I'll be looking to Nitecore first when looking for my next light. Well done Nitecore...well done.
