Customers praised this headlamp bike mount for its quality build and perfect fit. One reviewer said "Having it now I could not imagine having any other light for my mtb." The mount allows easy swapping between bikes and includes an anti-lose tether. However, compatibility varies—it may not fit hybrid commuter stems without adapters. One mount broke early but was quickly replaced.
I took a chance on this because I have a (Discontinued) HC 68 headlamp, works perfectly and the quality build of this mount is perfect. Great Modification
Good quality parts. Fit nicely on my bar clamp. Havent had a chance to go for a ride after dark, but should work perfectly.
Having it now I could not imagine having any other light for my mtb. Bracket adapts perfectly, snug, including the anti-lose tether is a nice idea. If I could suggest one thing, include another lanyard with the extra ring.
Great bike mount, but be sure you have the right mountain bike stem attachment. Also, this will more than likely not work on your hybrid commuter, unless its stem is like the one in the description. For my hybrid commuter, I ended up buying a separate handlebar mount with a Gopro adapater, and a male-to-male connector kit for GoPros in order to successfully install my light onto my hybrid commuter bike.
I ordered two of these and love the ability to swap the light quickly between bikes. Haven't had the need to use the light much since I right mostly when it is light out, but that will change with the time changes. One of the mounts broke after only a use or two, but a replacement was quickly sent to me by Nitecore and that was absolutely awesome. I hope they stand up over time.
I have about six Nitecore flashlights. My oldest one is about 13 years old. I believe it’s the MH 18. I’ve dropped that from 20 feet up onto a concrete floor. Left out an extreme weather and still works. Perfect 13 years later. Absolutely love their products and will keep buying them forever.
