Power Extension for the NU40, NU43, and More

The Nitecore Extension Battery Case is designed to extend the battery runtime of the NU40, NU43, NU50, and HC65 UHE headlamps. When the headlamp is on, it will first be powered by the battery case, followed by the built-in battery of the headlamp allowing it to maximize its runtime.

Lightweight and Comfortable

Weighing only 2.2 ounces and directly attached to the headlamp band on the back, it provides a balanced weight distribution to the user for a comfortable and secure wearing experience.

User-Friendly

The Extension Battery Case is compatible with high-capacity 18650 rechargeable batteries, excluding flat-top batteries. Equipped with an intelligent charging function, connect a USB cable to a USB-C adapter to begin charging the battery when not in use. For added safety, it features four red flashing lights to act as a signal light at night. Short press the Power Button for the power indicators to illuminate your remaining battery power.

Handy extender

When you first look at this thing it's nothing special, but upon usage I've found it's well designed to hold on to your headband. It's rugged, and nicely counterbalances the headlight. The only thing I find troubles me is the clip that locks it to the light. It pretty much eliminated using it for anything else. If it's necessary it will be modified

Great addition to my NU50 headlamp!

As a union Electrician Apprentice this extension battery case and battery package has helped me in a lot of dark situations. I use this everyday and just helps to light up my workspace without having to stop work and recharge my headlamp so often. Very happy with this product!

Extension Battery case in cold weather.

Ever since Princeton stopped making one, this is the first headlamp battery system I’ve found that allows me to keep the battery warm in my hat and against my skin. Only used it a month, but is bright and long lasting at -20°F. No problems with the plastic parts at low temps.
