Description

High Performance Headlamp

The Nitecore HC60 v2 headlamp takes everything we love about HC60 and makes it even better. The max output has been increased to 1200 lumen that can reach up to 142 yards. Its 100 degree wide angle flood beam covers your entire field of vision, making it an ideal headlamp for camping, running, hunting, trekking, biking, or any outdoor activity.

LED Tint - White Light and Neutral White

The HC60 v2 headlamp comes in two versions: White Light or Neutral White LED tints. The white light version maximizes the contrast and clarity. It shines brightly between every blade of grass. The neutral white version has a lower color temperature of 4000-5000k and high CRI ability(>80%). This effectively reduces the eye strain while rendering the natural colors of terrain and foliage. Neutral white also cuts through the fog and rain better.

USB-C Rechargeable

The HC60 v2 comes with a 3400mAh high capacity 18650 battery, boasting an exceptional 680 hours of runtime on ultra low. This headlamp has also been upgraded with a USB-C charging port for improved charging times! The LED light beneath the power switch doubles as a charging status indicator and battery power indicator.

Easy to Use and Comfortable to Wear

HC60 v2 is super easy to use with its single switch design. No more fumbling multiple switches in the dark. Just long press the switch to power on and off. When the headlamp is on, short press the switch to cycle through different brightness levels and three auxiliary modes. The setting is memorized even after you turn off the headlamp. It is also designed to comfortably wear the headlamp for a prolonged time with a secure rear pad and silicone grip strip on the headlamp.

Customers praised this rechargeable headlamp for its exceptional brightness, long battery life (6+ hours at 250 lumens), and comfortable fit. Many noted the wide beam pattern is "perfect for covering a trail" and the 1-lumen ultralow setting. USB-C charging is convenient. Some concerns: control switch can be hard to locate, unit gets hot on high settings, and weight may cause forehead marks during extended use.

Borderline perfect

Great Light. Esp for the weight. Only issue is that the older model had a neck strap included with the headgear. Now you need to take off the top headgear strap to make a neck strap.

Nitecore HC60 v2 -- my best ever headlamp!

I need a bright light to walk along dark trails, but when I get there, I need only a little light, just enough to change the settings on the back of my camera. Too much light, and I both ruin my habituation to darkness, and, I might ruin the photo of another photographer working in the same area.

I fine the "Ultralow" 1 lumen setting to be perfect for what I need, neither too dim nor too bright.

I find the "Mid" setting of 250 lumens is fine for navigating the dark trails--and much appreciate the fact that at this setting, the battery is good for 6+ hours!

The other thing that I really like about this headlamp is the user-friendliness. I've had other headlamps that were not simple to operate. Also, I much appreciate that the adjustment button is so easy to find by feel. A big plus for working in the pitch dark.

I've used several other headlamps and this is easily the best yet.

Great light!

I had the first version of the HC60 and two part epoxied it to my hard hat. The rubber mount had broke so I ordered the new version and the updates on it are great! I had the 1st version probably about three years! It is worth the money.

Almost great

Good product. My only complaint is finding the control switch on the front of the light is tricky to easily find. I wish this switch were bigger protruded more so that it would be easier to feel.

Various Lights

I have 7 Nitecore lights. They are all excellent lights. I don't look to anyone but Nitecore for a flashlight.

Nitecore HC60 v2 headlamp

This is the second one of these I've bought. My first one (still in regular use) was the orginal HC60. I use both of them regularly and prefer having one in the shop and one on the truck. These are the best battery headlamps that I've ever used.

Excellent

My HC 60 V2 1200 lm headlamp is excellent. I especially love the beam pattern, very floody. The ui is very easy once you get used to the button being on the front of the headlamp instead of on the top. The strap is comfortable, although a bit small for my fat head, but it still fits. Both the headband strap and the middle center strap are adjustable and breathable. The weight of the lamp is not too bad a little heavier than most AAA headlamps but not by much. You can tilt the headlamp up or down, but this is a little difficult, because of the tight fit in the mound, but as long as you hold them out with one hand and rotate that lamp with the other slowly, you are fine. Overall, this is a great headlamp and well worth the money I am a Fenix snob. However, I chose Nightcore because the reviews led me to believe that the battery run times are a little bit longer and I am more impressed with Nightcore batteries than Fenix. Time will tell so far I am happy with the purchase.

Hc60 v2 white)

Very pleased! Bracket is surprisingly comfortable for having little padding (wore it for 2 hours on first hike). Wide beam pattern great for covering a trail, probably even better for off-trail use. Bought the neutral (warm) white version; more comfortable on the eyes than cool white, but remember that a cool white will always appear brighter to the human eye than a warm one with the same lumen output.

Solid

This headlamp came one day before a major storm hit and knocked the power out all over my city for days. Fortunately I'd had time to charge both batteries. This headlamp had one outstanding capability that I had not seen before in a headlamp-- I could point the light straight up to reflect off the ceiling, which meant I could talk to people without blinding them. As well, that softened the light and spread it all over the room. Pros- tough and powerful, can be pointed straight up. Can be used on super-low for hundreds of hours. Cons-- Heavy, will make a red mark on your forehead if you have to wear it for hours.

Great for night cycling

The HC60 is a perfect helmet-mounted light for bicycling at dusk or night. I have a frame-mounted light on my bike which is good for visibility to others, but the helmet light illuminates whatever it is exactly that you're looking at. For helmet mount, I remove all the straps from the stock mount and use industrial Velcro. Makes it easy to switch between helmets or remove for day rides.

Nice light

It is a nice light that is simple to operate and doesn't have a bunch of unnecessary features. The USB-C port is a welcome upgrade from a micro USB. I messed with the headband to make it work with my gear and all was perfect.

Fantastic Headlamp

I was skeptical about buying a headlamp as I had always just carried a flashlight. Being a truck driver that works at night, this is a necessity. I am greatly impressed by how bright the light is along with having different modes and being comfortable to wear. It truly makes my job so much easier having my hands free to inspect my equipment without having to hold a flashlight. If there was an option to give it 6 stars, this light would get it.

Night-fishing powerhouse

Bought to replace a higher priced but ageing cr123 headlamp of similar design. Feature-wise the HC60 is much more versatile and the controls are intuitive. Battery-life is close to that specified and it has performed nicely at -5f for extended periods while out fishing on a few occasions, and performed well at lower and higher settings when I was working on electrical as well. Built in charger is a great plus beam and adjustable angle make it suitable for fine work on your hands and trail illumination and beyond packing out. Quality clearly exceeds price point by a large margin and I can see Nitecore only becoming larger with their innovations and price points.

HC60 V2 HEADLAMPS

We have an aviation maintenance facility and have approximately 40 of the HC60 headlamps in use on a daily basis. We tried numerous other headlamps but have been pleased with the performance and durability of these units. We have had a few units that had performance issues but the customer service department repaired or replaced the units under warranty without any problem.

Great product, holds up over many uses

Use the HC60 every day at work. The light works great, nice bright beam. I've had 2 before this one, and they have all held up well. The only issue I've had is that the headband stretches out and needs to be replaced every year or so.
