The Nitecore MH25 v2 is the latest upgrade to the classic MH25GT. With a 1300 lumen output and over 519 yards of throw, it's the long throw tactical flashlight that is still compact enough to carry everyday. Be prepared for any situation with easy to use and durable two switch design. The tail cap powers the light on or off while the side switch adjusts the brightness, strobe etc special modes. Comes with two operation modes. By default, Daily mode gives access to four brightness levels, plus strobe, beacon, and SOS mode. Tactical mode strips away the beacon and SOS modes for faster strobe and turbo lighting control.
Rechargeable with Broad Compatibility
MH25 v2 has incredible power options between the included 5000mAh 21700 battery and a battery sleeve for 18650, CR123, and RC123 compatibility. Built in USB-C charging port allows super fast charging. The MH25 v2 runs up to 1500 hours in ultra low mode, making it a fantastic emergency light.

What attracted me to the MH25 v2 is its phenomenally long-lasting 1 lumen setting of 1500 hours - that's 62.5 days or almost 9 weeks! I haven't measured how long it actually lasts, but it stays on for weeks. It packs some serious luminosity at 1300lm (3hrs) and good reach at over 500m (5.5 football fields). I also like that it's a hybrid tactical - side switch. You turn it on with the back switch but then adjust luminosity with the side switch. Perfect combo for me. It can also tail stand, which is the way I like it in moonlight mode. The tail stand is a bit precarious but it does OK on a smooth flat surface. I weighed my MH25 V2 at 209.1g (7.38oz) with a Nitecore NL2150 battery. The 21700 can be recharged via the USB-C port on the flashlight, or charged externally. It can also be replaced by an 18650 or, heck, even two 3V CR123, which I’ve done - does it get any better for flexibility? The MH25 V2 is my favorite among my sub-2000 lumens flashlights. I may have to get another one or two before it's discontinued. At $90, it’s a good value.

This is a great light for being what I consider to be a compact size. I own several and I use this light almost every night year round searching for sick or injured wildlife. It is bright, durable and never had a failure of any kind. Highly recommended. Would love to see a comparable light with twice the battery capacity...

My husband purchased for me many years ago the MH20 flashlight and I loved it. Small and compact and I take it everywhere. I wanted another one but they no longer sell it. We went to the MH25 and WOW!! Love it!!
I go it for a friend as a gift. He has a 5 acre yard and raises chickens on it. I thought this would be nice to light up the far parts of his yard, to help him feel safe as he went out to shut down the coop. I would say that it is just right for that purpose. The spot is quit tight, so it is best used with some distance in mind. Larger properties, search and rescue, open spaces, that is where this light “shinesâ€Â! (Sorry for the pun)

As a Christmas gift for a friend, it was well received because it worked as advertised and received additional points for build quality.
I had the original flashlight for years however, while working. So I ended up buying the v2. The flashlight is always reliable and still uses all the rechargeable batteries I have. The v2 has even got a much needed upgrade and now I'm able to function through all the light settings easily.
Just a typical flashlight that works. A good lumen level with a long beam throw. I have it paired with a P20iX. So everything is covered for outdoors with these two.
Nitecore is easy to browse, easy to order, and the items get to your house fast. I love buying from them.
Finally with the new tailcap a light I can put in my pocket without finding the battery dead. It has great throw even on one lumen and good runtimes. It would be a good duty light. Te tilcap fits the MH12S so hopefully a spar will become available.
