Nitecore NCP40 Holster for Nitecore Tactical Flashlight

It works well with my MH25PRO the flashlight can be inserted either way and it is secure unlike the holster it came with. However this is a bulky holster and not really suitable for EDC. I would use it on hikes, camping etc. Right now it is attached to my backpack. While I have not used it much and it is still new it does seem well made. I am disappointed the tan color is not available as this would match my kit. I am happy with the purchase. The elastic side sleeve for a "tactical pen" seems a bit wide and not so secure so I probably wont use it but if I do it will be for something more trivial and less valuable like a glo-stick or marker pen. As with all my Nitecore products I am happy with my purchase. 4 stars because the tan option is shown but not offered.

It does what it was made to do

I cannot use the rapid hard type speed holsters, I need a good secure Molle holster. While these holsters can be used with a number of lights, Nitecore has designed the NCP40/30’s to their Flashlights. Multiple mounting options, one handed operation and secure enough that I don’t worry about losing my Nitecore lights. I have Nitecore NCP40B holsters on my battle belts and assault packs securely holding my Nitecore flashlights.

I've used a Nitecore NCP30 as my daily carry for years and decided to try out the NCP40 as a potential replacement for wear and tear.

The build quality feels excellent and it fits surefire flashlights and my pen great, the one I currently have has seen a lot of use and is still kicking. You'd have to really get jostled around a lot for it to even think about falling out, and at that point your lunch is probably going to leave first.

Things to note however. They no longer use the thicker straps as shown in the image, they use a thinner strap now, but I'm confident it'll hold up unless you try to zipline using it or something.

The customer service was excellent too, they checked in on my order after seeing a possible discrepancy and even fixed it for me on the spot when something was wrong.

Great holster for P20IX, prefer this than the original holster that comes along with the box set.
