Over 15 emails to get reimbursed $46.00 that they shorted me.

I bought four of these NL2150RX batteries because they had a USB-C charging port. I quickly found out that they wont work with any device that uses a 21700 batt. Not Nitecores or anyone else's. I spoke with CS and got the same ignorant girl twice. She said to buy the E4K! I said what? "The E4K" She was short and snotty. She believed that the E4K flashlight would work because it used a battery with a USB-C charging port. It wont! Because the RX is too long and only puts out 2A. Most high output devices need over 15A. That was followed by 11 emails to the factory. They had Jonathan in TX try and solve the problem. He had over 6 emails and finally refunded my $46.00 that they shorted me from the initial refund. It was one big cluster buck! AT some point, I told Jonathan to keep the money and I would get it back in negative reviews.

Wont work with any other 21700 battery operated piece of gear.

I bought 4 of these NL2150RX batteries. They are too long to fit other gear. They also have the wrong power output. I called Nite-Horror, and asked the CS a simple question, "Do you have a piece of equipment these will work in?" She gave me some, non-answer! She said, didn't you call a couple of days ago? I said yes I did. You suggested I buy an E4K flashlight. But looking at the specs, the battery output isn't compatible. All four are going back and I will never buy another product from these people. I tried to resolve the issue myself, but they don't list any light that is compatible with the NL2150RX. In the old days, if you needed a AA battery, they were standardized. How stupid are these people?

It's complicated...

Love the batteries. Just one problem which I'd love to see addressed. I wish there was a list of compatible Nitecore 21700 battery flashlights in the description. I adore my HC35s, which is why I picked up these batteries. They don't *exactly* fit in these flashlights. I can make them work, but it's by tightening the tail cap enough that I worry about damaging either the battery or the light. Also unsure of the IPX rating if the tail cap isn't fully tightened. Putting the length in the specs is great, but even if the battery "fits" if doesn't guarantee compatibility. Just missing this one spec, great battery though.

Nitecore NL2150RX 5000nah USB-C Rechargeable 21700

This is a review of the Nitecore NL2150RX 5000nah USB-C Rechargeable 21700 Battery. I rate it a 5.0 out of 5.0 stars.

Likes:
1. Able to charge the battery itself via USB-C.
2. Able to charge the battery in my Fenix CL26R Pro lanterns which it barely fit.
3.Able to use it in place of other standard 21700 batteries in my Fenix CL26R Pro lantern. It is slightly longer than a standard 21700 by a bit more than 1 mm. It did not work in my Nitecore MH25 Pro flashlight. It also does not work with my Nitecore P20iX, but that flashlight takes Nitecore’s proprietary battery.
4. The battery itself serves as a powerbank that charge my phone. 5,000 mah of power in a compact form.

Dislikes:
1. It would have been perfect if it could have worked with my Nitecore MH25 Pro flashlight.

Overall, I am happy with the Nitecore NL2150RX 5000nah USB-C Rechargeable 21700 Battery. I bought 4 of them. Just wish it could be use in my Nitecore MH25 Pro flashlight.

Great High Output 21700 Battery

This is a great 21700 battery with a whopping USB-C 5V-2A output. A 5000mAh battery with an 18-Watt Hour capacity. (Input-USB-C 5V-2.5A) Definitely charge it by itself, with a 2.5V to 3.0V wall charger. The Nitecore Quick Charge 3.0 USB Adapter or the Nitecore UA42Q USB charger will work fine. Then I finish it off with my Nitecore USM4 charger, to see all the stats inside the battery. It does not charge quickly because of its 18-Watt hour capacity. Put an inline Volt, Amp Hour & Watt reader device on it, because when the charged light comes on it's only 75% to 100% charged, as most C-Port charging batteries, flashlights and other devices are. That charged light, or 4th light coming on, means it's between 75% to 100% charged. You can use it as a power pack or it works in most hi-drain 21700 flashlights. (my Nitecore MH25S & MH12SE, in particular) I'm glad I got one and I'm getting more for my family to charge their laptops and iPhones, in a "no electricity situation".

Easy choice

I use mine for ultralite hiking. Added a drop of silicon (from a housing sealent tube) on each end. This new battery is legit and though the lightest, it's got tiny heft. Matched advertised weight and capability.
-Site simple and smooth. Products are quality. Shipping is timely. Can't beat it.
