U-Shape Design

The NTC2 U-shape Tail cap is designed to prevent the flashlight from turning on accidentally while in a holster or pocket. The NTC2 is made from a durable aero grade aluminum alloy for 21700 flashlights. Criss-cross style etchings are embossed into the side wall to improve grip.

Compatible with the models below which use standard 21700 batteries.

just what I wanted

just what i wanted…. the design protects the on/off
rubber cap as well as preventing accidental turn- ons. with this cap you can now stand your light on its end on a perfectly flat surface but it is not a real solid stand , especially if you are using the lanyard
( the lanyard passes through the tail cap slot). note that with the new tail cap , the flashlight still fits fine into the factory holster. thanks, Nitecore!

Did it's job

I have a therapy wand by Nitecore and lost the tail cap. Company I bought it from didn't have spare parts for it and wanted $350 for the entire kit. Called Nitecore and they said it's discontinued, but a new model tail cap was compatible. Bought 2. Worked like a charm.

Load cap

I believe all flashlights should have this tail cap originaly on the flashlight, in case of accidental turn on. Tail cap is also too load, I like quite tail caps. Thanks

Perfect addition

Exactly what the MH12s needed for the way I use the flashlight. Had an issue with flashlight accidentally turning on in a nylon holster. Now with tailcap protection,I don’t think that will happen again. Can quarter turn tailcap to completely shut flashlight down,but don’t want to have to do that. We’ll see how it goes as I use and carry the flashlight when at work.

Tailcap for MH12S

the tailcap seems to be good quality but when I put it on the two posts that stick up where the laynard loops in dont line up right for example if you hold flashlight out where the mode button is top side the laynard posts are at a 2 and 8 oclock position which is awkward position using the tail button

Just what I needed

Have the MH12s that I really like. I found that the original tailcap tends to accidentally turn the flashlight on while in pocket. Bought this tailcap accessory to try and prevent that from happening again. Fits perfectly and looks great on the flashlight, plus you can tail stand flashlight now without original holster. Nice upgrade to a great flashlight, but should have a lockout feature in the software imo. Quarter turn out does the trick if you need an absolute off position.
