High Performing Headlamp

Nitecore NU50 headlamp maintains a lightweight profile of just a little over 5 ounces while achieving high lumen output and long battery runtime. With a maximum output of 1400 lumens and a beam throw of over 142 yards, the NU50 is capable of illuminating even the darkest environments. The dual LED combination of spotlight and floodlight provides long range illumination and a wide 100° for even coverage. Additionally, the auxiliary red light can be used to protect your night vision or as a signal light.

USB-C Rechargeable with Extended Runtime

Equipped with a built-in 5000mAh high efficiency battery, the Nitecore NU50 has an extended runtime of up to over 11 hours on high, and 180 hours on ultralow. It can be fully charged in under 2.5 hours via its fast charging USB-C port, and can provide up to a year of standby power, making it a great addition to any toolbox or emergency kits. Thanks to its twist port cover, the NU50 is rated IP68 waterproof.

One of the best headlamps I’ve owned

One of the best headlamps I’ve owned. I use it primarily in red mode and the battery life at that level is unrealistic! I keep thinking that it is going to need charging but when I check the battrry indicator I am still at almost full power. Highly recommend

I use this product for work. I am a home inspector, this is my second one and will probably pick up a third. The functions as it should, the different setting of brightnesses are very handy for different situations where. The different brightness settings are perfect sometimes I don’t need an overpowering bright light all the times I need to light up a large area this does it both. Battery life is impressive. This is definitely worth it.

Another win for nitecore

The NU50 is a great little head lamp. I love that it has an USB-C charge port, and that the port is protected from the environment. This headlamp is a little larger than the small ones but not as big as some of my cheap ones. I’ve learned my lesson to spend the extra $$$ for a quality product like nitecore - you’ll get your moneys worth. They are well made products and their feature sets are complete. I’ll continue to buy nitecore products.

Almost Perfect I would by again

The unit itself is perfect. High quality build, the correct battery type and extremely comfortable. The only issue I have is that it is not real straight forward to enter the ultra low light mode or the SOS mode. You could say that it is a user issue and that I am not that capable. I have used these types of systems for over 30 years. I am regarded world wide as a key computer expert. I know how to operate stuff like this. I can get into all modes, but you need to figure it out. I have been a Nitecore customer for a long time and I would recommend this as probably the best light of it's type anywhere. I would purchase this over the more expensive Nitecore options becauase it does everything you need and long battery life and you do not really need a brighter lite. This model is the right choice.

Nice light

Great quality, Nice Lighting

The light output seems to be about perfect for working under a vehicle. The highest turbo setting generates a lot of heat but I would never need that much brightness under normal use. The weight is noticeable but long battery life is worth the weight premium. The frame holds the light stable and the headband is wide and comfortable. The buttons work well, even with gloves. All in all, no regrets and would buy another one.
