NITECORE P10iX 4000 Lumen USB-C Rechargeable Flashlight

Sturdy, reliable, functional, and overall a powerful little flashlight. Easy to carry around and use when needed, and charging times aren't long.

This is a review of the Nitecore P10iX 4000 Lumen Flashlight. I rate it a 4.8 out of 5.0 stars.

Favorites:
1. Flood-style light spreads a really wide and uniform bean of light. Not made to throw far, but to light up a large area evenly with no hotspots.
2. Compact and lightweight for a 21700 flashlight and for the wide beam that comes out.
3. Easy interface using a press of a tail switch to turn on and a flat button below to change the brightness.
Other positives:
4. Excellent build quality.
5. Brightness modes are nicely spread out and just right at each step up.
6. iPX68 water resistant and impact resistant.
7. Battery indicator is nice.
8. Tint is quite neutral, not too cool or too warm.

Dislikes:
1. It uses a proprietary battery. Wish it could use the same battery as my Nitecore MH25 Pro.

This Nitecore P10iX is my favorite flood-style flashlight. If you want a spotlight-style light, the Nitecore MH25 Pro is my favorite.

Overall I am satisfied with my flashlight, it works very well. My one problem with it is that within a week of owning it, the hinge pins for the tactical mode button both came off, resulting in the button plate falling off as well. I do not see a way to fix the problem unfortunately. Still works well overall.

Purchased this one as a "gently used" sale item to complement the P23i and P20iX that I already have.
My only regret is not getting this one sooner. While the reflector is smaller, the light output is still excellent for EDC but it offers a couple of distinct advantages:
1) The crenelations of the bezel are rather small unlike the ones on the "big brother". Still an impact amplifier for self-defense, but not one that will raise eyebrows with the TSA.
2) the light can be carried switch up in a pocket or in the waistband and the bezel end will not snag.
3) switch up carry in the waistband is a lot more secure and comfortable than carrying a P23i / P20i(X) bezel up
4) The switch is consistent with the P23i and P20i(X) - same operation for all three lights, no need to re-calibrate the brain how to use the light under stress.
The only thing I don't care too much for is the holster. Rather than the straight up pull I'd prefer a tilt-out draw like the NTH20. T

Very nice flaahlight but it would be better if you could zoom in the light.

Great flashlight if you need a flood style edc I do maintenance work so mostly use this flashlight for up close.It will get super bright and reach out good but it will be spread out wide.

I liked my NITECORE P10iX 4000 Lumen USB-C Rechargeable Flashlight so much that I bought one for a friend. This flashlight far exceeded my expectations. It's more light than I'll ever need and it's small enough to take anywhere. I will definitely recommend this flashlight to friends and family.

Much brighter than I could have hoped for. The lack of a lock mode is easily overcome by turning the battery cap a quarter turn open when in storage/in my bag or jacket pocket

I don't see where to attach the lanyard. A photo or video would be great. I'll change it to a 5 if you show me.

A good choice for EDC. Good runtimes. Better choice then an 1800 lumen flashlight. P20iX and P10iX runtime for 1700 lumen is 2 hours. 1800 lumen turbo flashlights runtime is 45 minutes.

I EDC this light and the performance is great. Size is not too large for pocket carry. Battery life is great. I have dropped it several times and no issues.

I have bought many of their flashlights before and have had zero issues. These are without a doubt the best, highest quality flashlights I have ever purchased. They are well worth the price.

Proof you dont' have to spend $$$$ to get quality. I've been using tactical illumination tools for a long time. First major investment was The SureFire Model 300 WeaponLight. I've been a SureFire fan ever since. If you can make weapon light with this quality. Major game changer...

This is the best flashlight I’ve ever owned. I use flashlights extensively in my inspection business. No hot spot in the light, it an even even flood of light.
I recommend this light to everyone.

great flashlight for a reasonable price

This little light is great for home inspections. A very wide, even floodlight with no hotspot. Attics and crawlspaces are like daylight. The light is very small and with so little mass it gets hot really fast on the high settings. I'll take the good with the bad as it's a good value for the money with the included battery and USB-C charging.

Who needs a hotspot when you can light everything up. Maybe you all should include a way to Telescopic focus the beam like TAC light has to improve the range.

As a traveler i find it troublesome to receive item before i leave the location I am staying at. I have bought some from Amazon that were delivered the next day. I can't wait around for a week and a half to get what should take 2 days to deliver. I would buy more from Nitecore Store if the shipping was more expedient. great products though. I wish more of your products made it to Amazon.

Using this light as my go-to night boating light and it's fantastic. The wide flood beam is perfect for docking and locating navigational markers! Foolproof and fail safe light.

Everything about this flashlight is superior from opening the box to utilizing its functions to its full extent!

Best flashlight ever. Bought the TM-26 (tiny monster) and this packs the same punch for less.

I love the look and feel nicely made.basically a flood light no straight beam.it doesn’t look like 4000 lumens.my 1800 looks brighter compared side by side.so battery doesnt have usb plug in so you need a charger or plug flashlight in.
