Description

Ultimate EDC Keychain Flashlight

If the original TIP was a sporty coupe and the TIP 2 a grand touring, - the new TIP SE is a sports car with both the power and a sleek frame. The TIP SE's dual LED doubles the power to 700 lumen while maintaining the compact size and stylish design of the original TIP. That translates to over 100 yards of throw and illumination from a thumb-sized keychain light. The entire unit weighs less than a single ounce, so when paired with the included adjustable pocket clip, you have an ideal EDC travel companion.

Easy to Operate

Here to stay is the intuitive dual button design with a power button for on and off, and a mode button to cycle through brightness settings. The mode button also doubles as a turbo switch. Whether the light is off or on, holding the mode button gets you instant turbo. With four brightness settings to cover all of your needs the TIP SE is a must have accessory for any keychain, emergency kit, or outdoor set.

USB-C Fast Charging

The USB-C fast charging capability fully juices the TIP SE in under 1.5 hours and provides over 50 hours of effective runtime per charge. Underneath the power button is a battery level indicator that tells you the remaining battery power. When the light is connected to a power source, it also doubles as a charging indicator that turns from red to green when fully charged. With multiple built-in charging safeguards and an IP54 weather resistant rating the TIP SE is very durable for daily use.

An absolutely indispensable tool, always with me!

In my work, a flashlight is my most needed tool. Seeing into computer chassis, cabling areas, etc., is the start to everything. This is small enough to fit in the tiny 5th pocket on my jeans (along with my work flash drive). This means when I crawl under or behind a server rack, etc., and then see I need a light, I have it on me! It provides the light I need, when I need it. Great levels and real bright boost level. Charge lasts a long time too. Only problem is I leave them all over, and then the frantic search begins (but that one is on me, lol).

Durability

While being a highly useful small flashlight, the only drawback I find is they stop working; fine when still under warranty Anna’and NiteCore has been excellent honoring failure with repair and or replacement. I have four or so that have failed outside of warranty (these lamps do not see gentle service) and possibly I should pursue sending them in for evaluation for repair. I have found no other FL in this size class that is so versatile.

My second TIP

I've had an original Tip for a number of years. I always kept on my car keychain. I have a second car now and ordered a new TIP SE For the New car.
These are great little Flashlights to have with you all the time

Nice Size and Power for a Keychain Light.

Brought both the Tip 2 and Tip SE, and of the two I like the Tip SE more. The Tip 2 is an okay light and to me a little too large as a keychain light compare to others available in the market. The Tip SE is noticeable smaller and lighter, and nicer as a keychain light. You have to depress the Tip 2 power button about 2 seconds before it turns on where-as light is instantaneous when you depress the power button with the Tip SE. Final note; Tip SE uses usb c for charging, Tip 2 uses the micro usb.
