Customers praised this compact keychain light as "built like a little tank" with exceptional brightness for its size. Multiple lighting modes and adjustable color temperatures are standout features. However, several customers noted the sensitive power button frequently activates accidentally in pockets, draining the battery. The lockout mode helps but doesn't eliminate this issue.

Best keychain flash light ever
Excellent little flashlight. Love the low setting to use to use in restaurants and the bright setting while taking the dog out at night. Just the flashlight I was looking for. Highly recommended.
Built like a little tank. We bought this for my wife’s purse. It’s about the size of an average key fob. Built very well. And for a really small light, it really pumps out a beam. Perfect for a purse. Wife if happy
Like all Nitecore products, it's well made and does the job, especially for such a small portable light. My only quibble: It's very easy to depress the power button accidentally when you put the light in your pocket. This can run down the charge and leave you without a light when you need it most. With that said, Nitecore's customer support team is exceptional and five stars all the way. They went WAY above and beyond to help me with a specific issue. Beginning to end, it's the single best customer service experience I've had in awhile.

Handy
Brighter and has a great battery for a Keychain light. Lockout mode is important for something in your pocket and flexible lighting modes add to a great light.
Flashlight turns on in pocket even when in lockout mode, making this model useless.
I love the size, however, the on/off switch is very sensative. I've had it turn on in pocket and didnt realize it until it grew hot. Other than that it works nicely

The TIP3 is a great flashlight. Very slender and lightweight but still enough lumens to do almost anything. The ability to have 3 different color temperatures is a big plus.
The light output is legitimate. I would give it a 5 but it comes on inadvertently due to how much of a soft touch it takes to turn on. It has come on accidentally in my pocket and the battery died on me.
I use it as a pocket carry and if would be ideal if it was slightly larger. However, the light output is excellent.
Nice little flashlight and pretty easy to use
Product support is excellent, I ordered this but received a different light. I am in the process of returning the wrong light and Nitecore is sending me the correct light. It is always comforting to buy products from a company who has customer support who actually responds and fixes these minor mistakes that come up once in a while. I have NEVER had Nitecore support blow me off or ghost me. they have always been there to fix any issues =D
Great features and easy to use, feels like quality construction and lock out modes prevent accidental activation in pocket or storage. A well thought out light overall.

Nice KeyChain Light
This is a nice little keychain light! It’s bright and the light allows you to change the color between cool, warm and natural. I highly recommend it.

Only complaint is the rubber cover to the charger port. Its very hard to open. It also feels very cheap and Im sure it will break off after a few uses
Don’t love the power button , should be a double click to turn on. Goes off to many times by accident with a single click power on.
My 2nd Nitecore. It’s great! A lot of flashlight in small package for a reasonable price. So far it has great battery life and is perfect for your keychain. No more fumbling in the dark or relying on my phone’s flashlight.

I like the tip3 for all of it's features and better battery life. It has one problem that is major for me. I carry it in my pants pocket and it turns on so easily that it is turning on almost every time I carry it. My earlier Tips would occasionally turn on in my pocket, but not often. I know that I can carry the Tip 3 locked or with the pocket clip, but that makes it less handy. The buttons need some work to make it less likely to turn on accidentally.
