It hasn't left my pocket since the day it arrived!
Compact enough for EDC. I wish it was half an inch shorter than the actual 4.25", but in exchange I get the very useful swivel head, which makes it more convenient to use than any of my previous flashlights. As I am sure we all know, finding an attachment surface at the exact angle can be challenging. And, yes, those additional 10 degrees past 90 deg make a lot of difference - think tabletop reading. The *true* moonlight mode is also important to me (they call it ultralow). It outputs only 1 lumen. Sorry, other flashlight manufacturers, 10 or 5 lumen is not really moonlight. The simple UI is also a plus. Pressing the M button while sliding the main switch looks awkward at first, requiring two hands, but I found a way to do it one-handed. After carrying five different flashlights over ten years, this may finally be THE ONE.

As i expected. I bought it for the brighter red light mostly as i do a lot of camping and night fishing. The standard white light is bright enough for most tasks you would expect of a headlamp. The red light is phenomenal.i have a few others and of varying brands, most 5-15 lumen and leave a lot to be desired. This thing is significantly better in that regard. Not a fan of the blue or how to charge, no external port so have to remove battery. But i can overlook that. Ive waited forever for someone to make a brighter red led headlamp and someone finally dis!

Haven’t put it through extreme paces yet, however, the initial take audit is that it is terrific with just the right amount of power and lasting on the battery combined with very lightweight. Well, done, Nightcore.

Great light for slipping into a pocket, bag, purse or backpack for everyday use. The modes are nicely spaced and run times are good. The ability to tail stand while on is a feature I wish more AA lights had or kept.

The included rechargeable AA battery means you get better performance and run time and don't need to worry about old Alkaline batteries leaking in your emergency light stashed in the glove box or your work backpack if you don't use the light all the time. While the AA form factor allows you to grab back up batteries pretty much anywhere if you needed and keep the light on until you could recharge.

The only thing that would be nice to see added would be an ultra low mode at 1 - 10 lumens for when you just need a little light to navigate but don't want to illuminate the whole room/area or blind yourself. Other than that one little thing, this is a near perfect single AA flashlight!

Not bad battery does the job I got two of them they do last awhile but again it all depends on how you use it the brighter you use the flashlight the less it last like everything else.

Best little flashlight I bought does the small enough to carry around at home and work.

I really like the design and the tech and the double locking mechanism super bright and not to light or heavy for a keychain light.
