First of all, I have to say what a well made flashlight this is. Not only does it have 1500 lumens with the slide of a switch. But it also has a green laser light, which is very powerful and an ultraviolet light option. Normally, I’m a Surefire fan. However, Nightcore has knocked this one out of the park. Absolutely excellent design. Very innovative.

Product arrived in a timely manner in professional packaging. Installed the battery right away and it had a decent charge before I plugged my device in. Would purchase from them agsin.

The size, ergonomics and functionality of this edc flashlight are spot on.

the flashlite itsself i love, no issues, highly recommend.
i had the gen 1 and then i lost it and bought the gen two, in some ways i liked the gen 1 button more than the gen 2. the soft touch button gets triggered easily in my opinion, i caught my pockets on fire 2 times lol, and one of the times it ruined my really nice shirt :( . but the gen 2 says unscrew the cap a little bit to prevent that. i guess in some ways thats a personal issue on my part.

Came sooner than expected and very good product

The Nitecore EDC29 is an absolute powerhouse that has quickly become a staple in my daily carry. After putting it to work for a full week, I can confidently say the reliability is top-notch, as I haven't encountered a single issue during regular use. The most immediate standout feature is the brightness, which is nothing short of amazing. Pushing out 6,500 lumens from a flat-style light provides a staggering amount of illumination that easily handles everything from close-range tasks to lighting up entire open areas.

One of the most significant improvements in this model is the inclusion of the new physical lockout switch. It is a massive upgrade over software-based locks, offering a tactile and foolproof way to ensure the light doesn't accidentally activate while tucked away. While it is slightly larger than the EDC27, the extra size feels like a fair trade for the massive jump in performance and the peace of mind provided by that dedicated switch. It still retains the signature slim profile that makes this series so easy to carry, but with a more robust and capable feel in the hand.

Best light I own. Very small, robust feel, quality is outstanding. Incredibly bright, but all all of the light settings you would need which is nice. Very satisfied, in fact I bought two. Good value, you get way more than you expect.

Heavy duty. Primary chose this model for the red lens option. Wish it was a little lighter, but the light options and rechargeable battery make it worth the extra weight. Own several Nitecore lights - P23, couple MH25s, plus several purchased as gifts. Never any issues.
