Cool little light

Not the brightest headlamp I've seen. However, much more practical for my needs. Still on first battery. I can not attest to longevity. To date I've been pleased with previous experience with Nitecore. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. I would prefer a dial to access various modes rather than cycling through with buttons. 3000 lumens appears to be sweet spot for blowing snow.

I really like the warmer light. It makes a huge difference and I’ll probably never want to go back to cool light unless it’s for something tactical. I also like the plastic body.

Purchased this for walking my dogs at night or early morning before sunrise. I wear the NU53 while walking with them and when cars drive past, unless I'm looking in their direction, they may not see me or the dogs.

That being said, the lights attach to their collars easy. Slip on and anchor to the inner portion by the adjustment holes. They're positioned on the side, so when they turn and walk it's visible.

The bright white flashing works best in night and dark conditions. The blinking red works best with dusk and fog.

Overall, happy I found a small, light weight product that works as designed.

Great light, durable and bright, battery will last a few days before recharging mind you I’m a mechanic and it sees daily use, although is small enough to fit in your pocket I found that it will fit perfectly in the belt pouch for the maglite mini, looking to get a 2nd battery for back up
